No, it's BREAKING NEWS.

Good for Bortles. The invitation was all that mattered. Participation in a non season event that carries the possibility off injury is a bad idea. We have so much vested in Bortles that risking an unwarrented injury was simply not in his or the teams best interest. Beside, he already has an injured hand that needs to recupperate and the possibility of having a 250+ pound tackle 'accidentally' stomp on it is not condusive to healing.

I am going to call Bortles a Pro-Bowler from here on out. Count it.

Looks like he was the alternate behind Derek Carr or Tyrod Taylor.

I AM SO ANGRY RIGHT NOW THAT BORTLES DID NOT MAKE THE PRO BOWL, THE MOST MEANINGFUL GAME OF 2016.

So he can't put "Pro Bowler" on the resume yet? I wonder how his agent feels about that.

Who cares? The Pro Bowl is a joke.

Most of you already know this but here is the article to it. So now those of you that are mad, can calm down. He made it but declined.

It's a good thing he only costed him the probowl. Without the Joke, Bortles probably would have been on IR by week 8.

The good new is by not playing there, he is not risking an unnecessary injury in a meaningless game.

What the heck man! That's it, Bortles is soft and injury prone, and is probably too busy eating ice cream with Bus Gradley to suit up and play one-thumb-ed. Rabble rabble.

It's obvious they need to change the Pro Bowl. In its current form, it's a joke. Everyone and their mom declines it. Moving it to March or something when people are healthier unfortunately would probably be bad for ratings in comparison to now.
