O'Brien was assistant coach under O'Leary for 8 years. Texans QB coach also helped recruit Bortles to UCF. They knew Bortles. Hackenburg wasnt even thought of

They are missing some players (i.e Kelvin Taylor).

Do you know if they will continue to add more grades?

Yeah, I saw that too. I assume they will keep adding them periodically, because they are missing a lot of players.

I knew there was some sort of UCF connection but thought they also said something about Hackenburg and Bortles being similar.

is it me or do the grades seem a lot higher this year vs. last year?

Only a handful of players had grades above 6.5 last year and it looks like almost the entire first round will be graded that high this year.

Is it the same guy that did the rankings or someone different?

Quote:Some draftniks sure. But it seems like most NFL personnel people are viewing him at corner and a lot don't see him as a true top 5 type of talent.

I'm still failing to see how he is leagues better than some of the other safeties that actually played free safety all of their college career. I get he is a versatile player but what does that mean if he is only decent at corner and projected to be pretty good at Safety? Specifically at safety is his pretty good worlds apart from the other safeties? I don't think it is.

Here's an idea: Use the versatile player as a nickel back if he is selected. We can use another pick to get our full-time FS.

I did not say draft a nickel back in the first round.

Colvin was a good nickel corner, no need to replace him

IIRC Aaron Colvin is a starting cornerback.

I prefer to only discuss college players in the college forum.
