All I said was the video was blurry...

You might want to worry about your own continent that's currently being invaded by rapists.  But keep believing it isn't happening if that makes you feel better.

He obviously has his left hand around his left pocket after turning away from the agent in front of him. This is a common tactic when people decide to shoot law enforcement. They'll initially throw their hands up to make them think they're going to cooperate. Then, they'll blade their body and reach for the weapon. He turned his left pocket away from the agent and then reached toward the pocket.

This seems pretty obvious to me.

That's not cool.

I'll make it even more weird by being the 3rd in agreement.

Except according to other photos he was right handed and wore his gun on his right side.

Could he have been reaching down to a wound after he was shot with his hands up? Moving your hand to a wound is a natural reaction to being injured.

Sure, anything could happen, but what's more likely? I'd expect a bunch of cameras from vehicle / agents, so I think it'll be released eventually.

I'm a right-handed shoot but I keep my weapon on my left ankle sometimes. I'll also keep a handgun, in a leather holster, inside the pockets of my hoodie. Sometimes it goes on the left side. Supposedly, they were supposed to meet with agents and without the guns. If he's jumping out of the car, his first thought may not be to properly holster the weapon that was probably on the floorboard to begin with.

If you have a pistol on your person, and the arresting law enforcement personnel know it, and you are in the process of being arrested, you had better be extremely careful what you do with your hands, or you are very likely to get shot.   Especially after you tried to get away in your car.   I wouldn't care if you're left handed or right handed.   There's no time to figure that out.  Keep your hands up or you are going to get shot.

He was reaching with his right hand into his coat where a gun was kept on the left side of his body. It's very clear in the video.

Nothing is very clear in the video.
There was no clear enough image as to just where his hands were going. With his right hand he could have been reaching inside his coat, or down toward his left side.

From what I saw he reached down with his left hand to his left side. His right hand was reaching down too, but more slowly. If you are reaching for a weapon you'd start with your preferred hand first.

It's perfectly clear, starting at 9:28 into the FBI video. He reached into his coat with his right hand. Not once, but twice and left it there until he was shot. The fool wanted to go out in a blaze of glory and he got it. I call him a fool because absolutely nothing, nothing, was gained by his death except family grief and maybe some misguided local legacy.

I have tried to keep an open mind in this entire matter.  I agree with what these protesters are protesting against but I do not agree with how they have gone about this.  With that said, the reports are so conflicting and the video without audio can be interpreted so many different ways depending on your bias I don't know what to make of it all.  The only thing that I am sure of is media bias.  Had this been a black teen in Baltimore or St. Louis during the recent uprisings the hysteria of the incident would have reached critical mass.

Serious question, what to you make of the reports that he was reacting to being shot first and not the aggressor?

I haven't seen those reports but from what I see in the video he immediately went down after he was shot - with no other shots being fired before that. What ever the agent shot him with seemed to be pretty damn lethal because he went straight down and didn't move, and it didn't look like a head shot.

If a guy has stated he would rather shoot it out than get arrested, and he is known to carry a gun, and he tries to escape a road block in his car...

... and then he gets out of his car...

... and I'm an FBI agent...

... if he so much as twitches he's going to get shot.   Left hand, right hand, I don't care.   Keep your hands UP.

I don't know why it makes any difference at all whether he's left handed, right handed or ambidextrous.  I don't know why it makes any difference whether he was reaching for a gun or whether he just wanted to scratch an itch.   He twitches, he's dead, because I want to live, too.

What really happened:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWLHiU8gYWY

This explains why FBI released video with no sound. They were shooting long before he ever got out of the car.

Then they continued to shoot at two innocent women in the car.  This was an execution.

They were shooting gas rounds and rubber bullets to break the windows. The fool who got out wanting to be shot got his wish. Case closed.

Let's see, fool jumps out of truck saying "Shoot me! Y'all want to shoot me? Shoot me!" Then fool further provokes his own death by sticking his hand inside his coat as if he has a weapon. Fool gets shot. He got what he asked for. How much have more generous and benevolent can they be?
