Jags picks:

Round 1: Jalen Ramsey, FS, Florida State

Round 2: Ryan Kelly, C, Alabama

Round 3: Austin Hooper, TE, Stanford

Round 4: Eric Striker, OLB, Oklahoma

Outside of Ramsey and Striker I don't really care for this mock. A center in the 2nd? A TE? I would've taken either Emmanuel Ogbah or Shilique Calhoun in the 2nd and Miles Killebrew, Jalen Mills, Deion Jones or Carl Nassib in the 3rd.

Yeah I'm not a fan of that draft either.

If it went down like that, I would select Karl Joseph in the second round and Javon Hargraves in the third.

Yup not a fan. Would hate to see Spence go to Tennessee at 33. You would think Dave would easily move up a few spots if Spence is sitting their at the top of the 2nd.

Based on the trade chart, we could probably trade a 5th and swap 2nds and get Spence in that scenario.

1: Ramsey

2: Spence

3: Nassib

4: Tretola

That is probably what I would do in that mock.

Trading with a division rival will probably cost us a bit more.

I think he means trade up with the Browns.

Not a fan of the mock either. Not enough focus on the Defense. A tight end in the third?

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

True. Knowing the Browns this would be a realistic scenario.

I decided not to post this mock after seeing the letters TE. How can anyone be that stupid? We don't need a tight end. We need a guy who covers tight ends. Duh.

Also, we can't wait until round 4 to pick a linebacker. That is what our round 2 pick should be.

Because I know y'all are just dying to know my thoughts on this...

Round 1: Jalen Ramsey, FS, Florida State - Noteable Players still available: Joey Bosa (DE), DeForest Buckner (DE), Shaq Lawson (DE), every eligible Florida player.

I'm okay with taking Ramsey here, but there's something about Bosa. Maybe it's just that he seems to be a hyper competitive Defensive Lineman and I like having those on the roster. Still, I'm good with Ramsey.

Round 2: Ryan Kelly, C, Alabama - Noteable Players still available: Kenny Clark (DT), Shilique Calhoun (DE), Emmanuel Ogbah (DE).

I think I would have gone with Clark on this one. He's not spoken of that much, but I think he's a really good Defensive Tackle.

Round 3: Austin Hooper, TE, Stanford - Noteable Players still availableBig Grineion Jones (LB), Jalen Mills (DB), Jack Allen ©

Now here is where I take a Center. Allen has been playing very well, but only get him here if you think he starts from Day one. Rounds One through Three are for starters in my view. Due to that, take Mills. I think he's going to be a fine Pro player.

Round 4: Eric Striker, OLB, Oklahoma - Noteable Players still available: Sebastian Tretola (G), Nick Vannett (TE), Bryce Williams (TE)

I'd be torn between Striker and Williams here. Flip a coin.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

I wouldn't say that we don't need a TE, but I don't think I would draft one high.

Julius Thomas - odds are he will miss a few games due to injury this year

Marcedes Lewis - If he comes back, he will just be a stop-gate

Clay Harbor - Average at best

Nic Jacobs - OK blocker, doesn't bring much else

Ben Koyack - Project at this point

Would like to see the Jags eventually get a good #2 TE to pair with Julius. A 2nd TE could be Blake's best friend/safety valve.

I would be happy with picking a TE on the third day. But the third round? No way.

Mock drafter should be fired.

In the second round of this mock draft, I would have considered CB Kendall Fuller. Earlier in the college season, he was considered a solid 1st rounder, but a knee injury has put him a little back from the 1st round conversation. He has a high upside.

All day long. I also really like Tretola because it allows them to move Cann to Center.

Spence has a better shot at going in the top 5 than he does of slipping to the second round.

He does not have any more of a chance at being drafted in the top five than dropping to the second round.

Seeing that there, and thinking that may be a possibility.

I dont think by the rules of this forum I am allowed to explain to you how that makes me feel.
