Free Agency, the Jags have the most cap room and there seems to be a lot of DL's and Safeties available.  Signing players in those positions would a strong start in rebuilding the defense.

I agree that there are upgrades to be made on the defensive side of the ball, but I'd like to secure some of the guys here first too. ARob, Hurns, Bortles to name a few. To make a real splash in FA to upgrade will cost a pretty penny too though.

Hurns is the only one of those guys eligible for a new contract since he was undrafted... I'd like to see him get a nice new deal.

I disagree, we are going to be major players this FA. Olivier Vernon and Tashaun Gipson will probably both be high on Dave's radar and he has the caproom to make it happen. I'm betting most big free agents will sign the first day of FA, especially now that they have that couple day period where agents can talk to teams before the FA officially begins.

Oh yeah I forgot about the days before free agency begins. But even with that, do you really expect to get those guys on the first day? Not everyone will be as quick as Zane Beadles was to find a new team. I am very excited about getting at least two, maybe three, major upgrades on defense through free agency. I just know realistically, we can't expect that to mean Tashaun Gipson will sign with us on Day 1.
