Democrat Debate

This all day long. Because if you're still in office or running for office you can be bought and it's not going to be for the benefit of the country.

Hilldawg is crushing Sanders so far.

I thought it was a pretty entertaining debate, I think this head to head format favors Clinton quite a bit, where yesterday her phoniness was apparent, today it was noticeable but she got a chance to sling [BLEEP] to deflect from it.

It was like watching my grandfather and his wife's mother arguing over the last bottle of Metamucil at the old folks home.

Edit: with my Grandma playing the part of Republicans, always hated by both and everything is her fault.

I saw a very new and very nice Lincoln Town Car today with a Sanders 2016 sticker on it. Obviously people with money and we have a lot of that here. Isn't that an oxymoron? A wealthy socialist minded person? Or am I just confused.....

Not really.  Sanders is supposedly after the top .1% of wealth,  Not the top 1% which includes anybody making over 400k per year (including Sanders).  Obviously you dont have to make that much to own a Lincoln.

People seem to have this idea that some mystery rich person is supposed to provide for all the free stuff Bernie is promising.  In reality 60% of the world's wealth is controlled by the top .0000008%, they also control the world and have no problem with a socialist movement since they will be exempt.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Rachel Maddow hugging the candidates was a victory for journalistic integrity. No one doubts where Maddow stands, but couldn't she have at least pretended to play the part for a while?

Come on dude, it's MSNBC. If she'd remained completely isolated from the candidates, people would be blasting her for pretending to be impartial when we all know she's secretly in love with both of them.

Glad I didn't watch it.  Rachel Madcow has to be the absolute worst when it comes to "news" commentary.  "Mr. Tingly" (Chris Mathews) is in constant competition with her for being the absolute worst ever.
