Go After Nate Allen?

Raiders just released Safety Nate Allen, think we should pursue him? From what I seen on a few other forums, he was solid but had some injury problems. What you think?

Unless he is a significant upgrade then I would pass.

When healthy, Nate Allen is better than Cyprien.  With the knee injury, I would stick with Cyprien and Sample for now.  Raiders cut him as his 2016 salary, around $5m, would be guaranteed 3 days after the Super Bowl.  They just signed him last year as one of their big free agency signings.  It's a big red flag when they release him already.  Pass.

If I remember correctly, Allen wasn't bad preinjury. Signing him to a 2 or 1 year prove it after injury would pretty low risk. Worst case you cut him, best case you have a starter or quality depth.
