Yeah. Either way it's speed we don't have back there.

agree, think there is any chance he falls to the 3rd because of the injury?

Was Karl Joseph projected as a mid second rounder before he got hurt?

Step 2. Joseph

Step 3. Relax

We could have 2 Ronnie Lotts and 2 Dions and it would not matter. #1 by far has to be a edge rusher from FA or Draft

So we draft a DE at #5 and FS at #38. Problem half solved.

We honestly have no way to tell right now, but assuming he's healthy and will get to work out for teams, I don't think he makes it there.

Not saying we should trade up, but what if he drops to the Broncos or Panthers in round 2?

FWIW.. Mike Mayock came out with his top 5 for each position and has Karl Joseph as his number 1 safety.

Starting to think he won't make it to our second round pick now...

Honestly I'm hoping for a Jack/Hargreaves and Joseph draft. I'm like Ramsey but I see this as a major upgrade to the defense. KJ is fast, a ball hawk, can hit, generate turnovers, tackle ect. He's all over the field.

I really believe when it's all said and done that KJ won't make it to our pick in the second round.

If the Jaguars do target Joseph in the 2nd round and he is taken before their pick, Darian Thompson would be an excellent alternative. He may not hit as hard, but seems to be a playmaker who is always around the ball. Either of these guys would be significant upgrades from what they currently have. Depending on free agency, Jack, Bosa or Spence in the first and one of these in the 2nd.

As a WVU fan, I love seeing people finally realize how great Crazy 8 is.

Another 2 prospects from West Virginia are CB/S KJ Dillon and LB Nick Kwaikowski. Really under the radar guys who are very talented

That's what I was wondering. I've only seen highlights, but he seems to be more the SS. Maybe the big hits and sacks just made sexier highlights.

Had he played much FS ?

I was saying I think he could play both. But I think he would be best at SS.
