I think it will be touch and go if he makes it to our second round pick. You have to love the way he plays. I think he can play both FS and SS without an issue.

If we managed to get Bosa/Spence in 1st and Joseph in the second that would be a massive upgrade to the defence.

Dream (realistic) FA in that scenario would be Trevathan, Jenkins, Mack

We were talking about him the other day in the other thread: I really like the way this guy plays, I would be all on board for drafting Jack (or Spence if we don't fix the Pass rusher situation well enough in FA) with the first round pick and Joseph as second round pick .

Although it seems unlikely he will slip to ou second round pick...eventually (if we don't pick Ramsey) I would even consider trading up a few spots for him.

The guy can even play SS if we take someone like Weddle in FA and let Joseph and Sample grow behind and playing with the veteran.

For those wondering, KJ8 played FS his Freshman and Sophomore year and then moved to SS his Junior and Senior year. So he can play both, but it's SS where he really excels.

Correct me if I'm wrong..

Wasn't KJ a captain his freshman year? Seems like a true leader out there.

Janoris Jenkins. Would he be expected to be the number 1 DB? Or is he about on par with House (sorry, limited exposure to him)

If he's expected to be a little better than House, who is solid, but probably more of a #2, then this would be a tremendous get.

I would certainly not say that KJ is a SS. He is a guy that can step up in the box, but I see him best suited as an Earl Thomas type center fielder Safety. I'm certainly not a scout that is just from me observing every WVU game he has played in. Good character guy and smart enough to get other players in position in the secondary. He will be a good pickup depending on how he recovers from his knee injury.

He's a center fielder for sure.

Trumaine Johnson from the Rams is a way better CB and suits our scheme better.

Yeah, Trumaine would be a terrific fit for our D.

Going to reiterate that this guy is one of the hardest hitters that I have seen come out in a long time.

Also, did not realize he was from Orlando.

Id like to see him be used like the Colts used Bob Sanders.  In the box safety on early downs but also could drop him in coverage as single high with no liability as did Sanders.  If we get Weddle in FA he would be the perfect compliment safety.

I like him. He plays with reckless abandon. Could lead to penalties and injuries though.

I like what I see from him. Plays smart. Might need to work on tackling some. He's a hard hitter, but I could see a lot of those being shed in the NFL.
