***OFFICIAL FSU @ UF Gameday thread

Quote:and you can expect to go back to being the 3rd best team in the ACC when Jameis leaves

LOL no. FSU is back atop the ACC, and will be for a long time.

If you don't see that, than you are dumber than I originally thought.

Quote:except when the Gators are good, you can bet on the swamp being full no matter the opponent. the Gator football tradition is just deeper than FSU has ever been. probably because UF has been relevant for longer

This is foolishness, the Gators have been relevant for only 23 years. I'm OLDER than the Gator football relevance

I'm still waiting for you to explain how UF is a better school academically.

Another thing you don't realize, because, well, I really don't need to say why, is the location of Gainesville and Tallahassee. Of course Florida is going to sell out more no matter who they're playing. Gainesville is much more centrally located and is a lot easier to take a trip for a day. FSU's fan base is so spread out. Tallahassee is located in the panhandle. Not exactly the easiest trip to make.

And it has nothing to do with "Gator tradition (that's a good one  Laughing )."

it's just a known fact that UF is a more prestigious university. Even my friend who is a huge Nole, graduated from FSU, earned his masters, admits that UF is the better choice from an academic pov

believe it or not, it's the truth.

The Gators were competing against powerhouses as early as the 1920s. haha. look at FSU record against UF back in the day.

Spurrier won the heisman in 1964

Quote:Okay.... If that makes you feel better. Rolleyes

I know it's sucking for you right now that us UF fans aren't upset about the loss yesterday...we knew we weren't going to win. If it makes you feel better I will pretend to stomp my feet and pout about it!

The house cleaning has begun at UF this morning...next year is a whole new season!

Doesn't suck at all.  It was great.  My first home game I've ever been to in gville.  House cleaning?  You still have muschump.  And that makes FSU fans very happy.

Quote:they showed a view of the stadium on tv and it was full, so by "huge gaps" idk what you mean

is there some fan base that shows up and sells every seat to home fans even if the team is 4-8? besides the Green Bay Packers, there isn't one... so again, your point is meaningless

I actually went to the game.

FSU has a excellent Law and Film program.

UF has a excellent Medicine program.

It's about what your interests are.

The Gators were never officially recognized for winning their conf until the 80's, and those wins were vacated under Pell.

I cant believe im getting trolled by you.
