I would draft Kerrigan 5th in this draft class.

Some thought Fowler was like Kerrigan last year. Having two kerrigans on the same defense would be amazing. However Bosa is bigger than Kerrigan.

A lot of mocks lately have Ramsey being taken by the Chargers. If that's the case and Bosa is there, Jags have to pick him.

I'm looking at his game. Dude looks damn near like JJ to me honestly. I'd trade picks for that.

Quote:I think the reason people think we would probably take a DT in round 2 is because of the depth of the DT class. It's been described as similar in depth to the WR class in 2014, when we took 2 WRs in round 2. Hence, odds are, the best available defensive player in round 2 will be a defensive tackle.

As far as your remark about both Bosa and Fowler having 0 snaps in the NFL, if we're talking about the future, by definition the future hasn't happened yet. They haven't yet played. Duh.

So you wouldn't even take a flier on poor old Bosa in the 7th round?

No, he has way too much talent to fall to the 3rd round.   It's his off field character concerns and lack of production that will push him into the 2nd round, but not beyond that.    Just my opinion.   I may be wrong.

OK, when he said undraftable, I took that to be hyperbole. Still, It seemed to me that many of the plays I saw him make in YouTube cutups were on plays that other players initiated and he was in on, not that that he was the main guy. Not only am I not a scout, I am not silly enough to think that watching a few video clips puts me in the same state, much less county or zip code of the real draft people. Having said that, I can see some point to him being overrated. Of course watching clips of Jalen Ramsey I thought he didn't have as many impact plays as I expected either. I am not really getting my hopes up too much for immediate impact from this year's draft class; hope I am wrong.

Hmmm. So Bosa is Ryan Kerrigan and Wright is Zach Thomas. I kinda thought Bosa was more of an Aaron Kampman and Wright seems a little more like a smaller Brian Urlacher. But that's just me.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

I think it depends what your expectations are.

If you think he's being touted as the next JJ Watt, then I think you're right to think that's over-hype.

If you think he's going to be a very good DL player and one of the best prospects in the draft then I think that's more realistic.

If you think he's going to drop out of the first round...  ummm.
