Shops over here love to put the 'American' tag on things and push the price right up... I went into a 'Sweet Shop' (Candy store for you :turned: ) and they were selling Twinkies for £1.99 which is almost $4 PER TWINKIE!!!!...

You can buy a packet of 10 for £1.99 in other stores that we have...

Exactly!! Although, £1.99 isn't bad for 10... which works out less than 25c per Twinkie...

Also, one of our huge Supermarket Chains (Tesco) sell 12 x Krispy Kreme Donuts for £10... that's $15!!

Seemed so much cheaper last time I was Stateside..

80% of what I talk about is nonesense.. the other 25% is made up statistics...

I'm not sure how much there is to tell... He was taking his son and his sons friend down on my property to hunt songdogs and somehow put one clean through his foot lol. He mentioned something about catching the gun on a branch but it didn't really make sense to me.

I'm not really nosey by nature so I didn't ask many questions, (although I did find it a bit humorous since he's a LEO of sorts), I just tried to make sure he wasn't bleeding out or something crazy and took him to the hospital and got the boys home. There actually wasn't even that much blood.

I imagine he's going to hear about it for a looooooooooooong time at work though. I'm going to see if I can find the bullet for him tomorrow Smile

Think of a seven layer bean dip with fritos on the bottom.

When I ski in Taos, New Mexico, this place does a frito pie (with red or green NM chili on top) on their happy hour menu that has become my after ski tradition with a couple of beers.
