Treadwell had 5 catches for 42 yards for an impressive 8.4 YPC and a long of 15 yards against the Gators. I would say everyone who covered him did their job.

Ramsey has the size, length, jamming ability, and speed they look for in this defense. Hargreaves doesn't. Is Hargreaves probably a better pure cover corner? Slightly. But Ramsey is just the better fit at corner with the versatility to be a hybrid safety as well.

I have my fair share of reservations about Ramsey. But comparing him to Mays is ridiculous Mays has a terrible football IQ and almost 0 ball tracking ability

Ramsey is better than people are making him out to be. Im on the Karl Joseph train but wouldnt be upset if we got Ramsey early. When you watch him, he makes plays. The issue isnt that he doesnt get his hands on any passes, its just that he doesnt catch them. Big difference. That could be something he can develop as most DBs arent the best pass catchers anyways. The main thing is he has the speed, physicality and instincts to plays at a high level and has shown it. Versatility goes a long way espcially in the befensive backfield as well.
