Quote:Good to see Ten trading away some draft picks for an older RB

This is what I was thinking. He is 28 and averaged less than 4 ypc last year. Might have been the system, but ...

Quote:I just noticed Florio leaked that Jackson to Jags is a done deal :teehee:

Don't think that could be a mistake of accidentally writing that?

It was the system. This move is bad for us.

Why is this bad for us? If you didnt watch last year we dont have a problem stopping the run and our defense will be better this year. Ten. oline is nowhere near as good as Dallas and Murray is 2 years older. I would rather this and Ten give away draft picks than them drafting someone like Alex Collins

Doubt they gave up more than a 6th. Murray is more likely to bring more of an impact than a 6th rder will.

If Demarco is in the right systrm he's definitely a nice upgrade for Tennessee.

It really depends on what they gave up for him.

He's definitely an upgrade over what they have.

Everyone makes moves. Everyone tries to get better. It's year 4 for Dave and Gus. "Getting better" but having a losing record in 2016 will be unacceptable.

Im good with that, plus the guy carries an 8 mil. dollar cap hit. They can give up the pick and take the cap hit. Im good with that. Im not worried about Murray behind a poor Ten oline lol

the titans have plenty of cap space. won't bother them one bit.

if it's for a 5th rounder or less, then it's a great deal for Tennessee.

I think it would be more wise to use that cap space else where. They could of went after Doug Martin and saved the draft pick.

Good deal by the Titans.

Interesting pairing too. Mariota plays better in shotgun whereas Murray runs better with the QB under center.

It sounds like he restructured his deal, not sure to what though.

Ive thought Murray was overrated to start, so looking forward to how he plays for the titans. Should be a far better fit for him than Philly was but still, dont expect too much from him and hope the titans gave away something worth while and not just a 6th

many jags fans will downplay demarco murray but the reality is that most of us would've been happy if he landed in Jacksonville.

let's see what the Jags do. We have to do something.

Last offseason? Sure. Now? If we'd have traded for Murray I'd be pretty worried that Caldwell didn't know what he was going. I'd rather have Yeldon.

Wow: Colts keep TE Dwayne Allen, per source. Four-year deal.

Well, there goes one of my under-the-radar signings for us...

Looks like Fleener is going to leave Andrew Luck for the first time since High School.

It's a four-year, $29.4M deal for Colts TE Dwayne Allen, with $12M paid out in year one, $17M through year two. He had 16 catches last year.

Nevermind.

Never expected the Jags to make a run at a TE. We drafted one last year, we're resigning Lewis and have one of the best pass catching TE's in the league. Harbor is a pretty decent 3rd TE too.
