Per Rotoworld:

Quote:Eagles to trade DeMarco Murray to the Titans

DeMarco Murray | PHI

(March 7, 2016 7:04 PM EST)

The Eagles are "finalizing" a trade that will send DeMarco Murray to the Titans when the NFL's new league year opens Wednesday afternoon.

NFL observers should be impressed with Eagles GM Howie Roseman, who in a matter of days will be unloading a huge chunk of salary, and three players who were almost entirely ineffective in 2015. Kiko Alonso and Byron Maxwell are also headed out the door. Murray averaged 3.64 yards per carry last season, and his legs have appeared dead since the end of the 2014 campaign in Dallas, where Murray amassed nearly 500 all-purpose touches. In theory, Murray will give the Titans a bellcow running back and provide an upgrade on Antonio Andrews. Like Murray, however, Andrews also finished last season with a 3.64 YPC average. Murray, of course, is far more skilled in the passing game. Either way, this trade looks like a big win for Philadelphia and a potentially ugly one for Tennessee.

Quote:I call it a win for us if we land Malik Jackson and Bruce Irvin. Cardinals are going after Irvin as their top target. Also sign a offensive of linemen and maybe a FS or CB. Looks like we aren't linked to any defensive backs?
I think we try to address the front 7 in FA and the DBs in the draft for the main part.

At a 2nd round tender? I'll pass. There's plenty of good LBs in this year's draft.

Assuming we got Irvin, Jackson and Vernon or Williams, that might create something of a glut at DL.

We'd have:

Williams/Vernon

Fowler

R. Davis

Odrick

Marks

Miller

A. Jones

Jackson

Bennett

Alualu

Would you keep all ten?  If not, who would you cut?

My choice would be Alualu.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

I think we are really looking hard at Ramsey for sure. If Ramsey isn't there it would probably Jack. Assuming we sign Irvin and Jackson.

Does anyone know what the tacks gave up to get Murray?

Alualu is probably the odd man out in that scenario, which is fine considering Odrick and Jackson will fill that role just fine.

Do either of you think somehow Marks might be the odd man out if Jackson were signed?

Yeah, I think Jack could be on top of our draft board.  I think there will be very good value in the 2nd for a guy like Karl Joseph who a lot of people feel is the best safety in the draft.

Under Gus we usually keep 10. If we draft someone then one of those guys will be out.

Yep Alualu would be the odd man out.

Grown on me a lot though I must say. Works hard every play.

Only unless he doesn't medically check out. The Jackson signing to me would be to help Marks even more, not to replace him.

If we get Jackson and Irvin I don't think we will go after Vernon and Williams anymore. Dave will be aggressive but will not overspend. I also think Vernon is a little overrated. A lot of his sacks came because the interior pass rush from Suh made the middle collapse giving Vernon better chances. If we sign Jackson we will have the same with the middle collapsing giving Fowler and Irvin to pressure/sacks.

But in that case I would also get rid of Alualu,

from that list, probably Michael Bennett.

Not really, especially inside linebacker.
