Eagles officially acquire 8th overall pick in 2016 draft from Miami for LB Kiko Alonso, CB Byron Maxwell, and 13th overall pick in 2016.

I'm going to say no.

But then again, neither was Malik.

 

FA is about 2 things, getting paid and chasing rings. You take less for a chance to play with a playoff/SB contender, you get paid big bucks by losers who want to get better much faster.

 

It's a crap shoot for everyone. If you take the discount but miss the SB/playoffs the gamble didn't work.

The money always works, imo. Always take the money.

 

But the big bucks stop after Jackson and Vernon I would think.
