Really though, Caldwell and crew are going to have to go back and start digging real deep into the Pass Rushing draft pool. All that talk last year about this being a weak draft for edge rushers, is really starting to hit home, real hard right now.

Most of the good guards and Centers are gone. We need to protect Bortles and we have the same oline as last year minus Beadles. A little bit worrisome when there was alot of talent out there.

Linder and Cann will both be starting this year. They are both arguably our two best offensive lineman, although Parnell is above average too. So our offensive line will be better. Just have one glaring hole at either LG or C.

Has anyone had the opportunity to check out the massive melt downs occurring on the Broncos, Browns, and Colts message boards? If you haven't yet I highly recommend that you do.

I did with the Browns. Fans are basically saying they wish they were us


Hopefully Wentz is their guy. I want them to be good again like the Jags and Raiders are about to be. I'm tired of all the same teams winning every year.

Bleacher Report's Jason Cole reports the 49ers are not interested in trading Colin Kaepernick.

Kaepernick is reportedly the Broncos "backup plan" after Brock Osweiler signed with the Texans, but the 49ers are remaining resolute in their desire to keep the troubled quarterback around. It may just be a negotiating ploy, but it looks like the Broncos will have to pay a pretty penny to pry Kaepernick away. The good news for San Francisco is Denver is likely desperate.

I have a real feeling we find a way to get Spence. Probably not at 5, but we may trade into the late first for him

And Joeckel is a big liability. I wouldnt mind bringing in Donald Penn.

Because he is too big and doesn't have the explosive measurables of the ideal LEO build.

 

I don't care though. The guy can play and we now need him more than ever.

Evan Mathis, Sean Smith, Robert Ayers are likely the top at their respective positions.

 

Ayers makes sense, he would be a nice role player, hopefully Fowler can come on strong as a rookie

Schefter: Mike Glennon a possibility for Denver

ESPN's Adam Schefter mentioned Mike Glennon as a possible trade target for Denver.


The Broncos were caught off guard by Brock Osweiler leaving to join the Texans and are now scrambling to find a starting quarterback. Glennon was moderately successful as a rookie in 2013 but lost his job to Josh McCown the following season and didn't play at all behind Jameis Winston in 2015. Colin Kaepernick and Robert Griffin have also been mentioned as possible replacements for Osweiler.
