Quote:Junior Galette ?  Red flags, with the domestic violent charge and the injury that put him on IR last year but had 2 straight double digit sack seasons and is only 27
I think we should take a chance on him. Normally I'd say no, but two back to back double digit sack seasons by an OLB is almost unheard of.

How about Courtney Upshaw? He's good at sealing the edge and stopping the run. Just hasn't developed into a pass rusher

Hurts, was a guy I was thinking would be a better late signing after Sean Smith, Jenkins, etc. landed places.

We need corner help, but with Gipson signing we may very well wait to get a corner in the draft. Wouldn't surprise me.

He's coming off of an achilles, so I'd pass.

Would be nice if we could get Sean Smith so we can focus on other areas of the draft

I feel like he's basically a lock to Oakland. We'll see.

I'd take any of the 3 CBs named above.

Dont like Amukamara, would rather draft a corner.  Every time I watch the Giants he gets burnt

Quote:Giants needed to overpay for Olivier Vernon. Source said the Jacksonville Jaguars were "less than an inch away" from beating out NYG bid.

When the Giants make the move they are heralded. If we would have landed him with those same terms it would have been called desperate to pay a guy who has come nowhere near the top of the mountain JJ Watt money. If anything, this move shows we have restraint.
Only a chump boos the home team!

Sean Smith most likely returning to KC. I don't think the Jags were interested.

Tweet from Jeff Darlington (@JeffDarlington) - Last I heard on Sean Smith, the 49ers were the big players. But it's been hours. https://twitter.com/Nick_Gapinski/status...8586036224

Jags trying to sway him out east?
