No i don't watch film, i watch highlights just like everyone else on here! I listen to the ppl who do watch real film thou thats Real NFL scouts. No one is better than Mike Mayock and there is a reason Bosa is No.1 and yes i watched Bosa Highlights and they are sick. Such violent hand at POA and finishes plays with violence. ill take that!

No doubt. This defense needs to improve a good bit with Fowler coming back, Gipson/Malik and likely more in FA, a draft that is mostly going to be defense, along with Marks returning. No reason this team shouldn't be ACTUALLY fighting for a playoff spot. (Sorry, but that whole BS last year of in the playoff race doesn't count).

No bend?! No motor?! Watch the Senior Bowl. Watch how he dominated every tackle he went up against in practice. Character issues? Yup. But don't act like the kid can't play. Bosa is a better all around DE and a safer pick, but Spence is a better rush end. I like Mayock too, but don't act like he hasn't missed on picks before.

In all fairness to gus, I don't think you have to worry about that.  Since he got here, he's essentially been working with Josh Evans at FS.  Josh Evans ideal role in this league is as a backup swing safety captain of your special teams.  They played him in centerfield, but he just didn't have the range.  Gipson was built to play the kind of deep center that Gus wants to play.  If he's healthy throughout the season you should see a huge difference.  Even if he doesn't come in with 10 picks this year (obvious exaggeration) we shouldn't see TE's setting new records every week getting open over the middle of the field.

The same reaso. He cost us a little less. Hes a pure centerfielder with a more slight build. He timed okay but he didnt run 4.3.


A slightly undersized fs is great in our scheme because hes a pure pass defender but not all teams view tge position the same.
