Former Giants CB Prince Amukamara is signing a 1-year deal with Jacksonville, per source.

Looks like a prove-it deal with Prince.

Love it. Give us flexibility going into the draft.

It would have been nice to have a 2+ year deal with Prince in case he plays real well in our system, but I'll take adding his talent to the team period.

That's what I'm thinking. I'm cool with it, see if he can shake those injuries

Very low expectations of Amukamara earning and keeping a starting role.

I hope they draft a CB in the second or third.

I also hope I'm wrong about Amukamara.

We supposedly have 60+ mil still left in cap space. If he plays well in our system we can still lock him up long term next year. If not then no harm.

A 2-3 year deal would have been nice but Im sure the plan is to get one of these corners in the draft to develop anyaway. Like adding him to the team regardless tho. A prove it deal protects us and if he performs Dave has shown he will pay you.

I like it. The prove it deals are nice! Rather been for two years but let's do it!

Tweet from Chad Evans (@ChadEvansSports) - Breaking: the #Jaguars putting finishing touches on a deal with Robert Ayers. Should be done shortly.

Decent signing. Now let's get Ayers.

That's my guess. If he stays healthy we can consider him in the group with guys like A-Rob, Telvin, Linder, Bortles, Hurns (although Hurns could get extension this offseason), etc.
