Prince Signs

#21

So since he was the 19th pick in 2011 can we just pretend we drafted him instead of Gabbert?

It took 20 years but the Jags now have their first Prince.

Welcome Aboard and good luck to you during the upcoming season.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

I love this deal. Prove-it contract with very low risk for the team, but very high reward for team and player if he comes through. If he's healthy, he's as good as House. Moving Colvin inside will help him along tremendously, and anything that brings an end to the Gratz and Marshall clown act is a net win in my book.

NH3...
He's injury prone but he's a press corner who fits the scheme.

Unlike Heargraves or however you spell it. He's too small.

Hope Prince works out, he was highly-touted coming out of college.

Quote:I know that a lot of people on here favor Ramsey, but I think Hargreaves is an all around better prospect. His ball-hawking skills and concentration are unreal. But then again, there's a lot of FSU fans on here who might just be pulling for their own guy.
Heargraves is so overrated.. And soft as cotton.

So our CBs, if I'm following correctly here, now look like...

1. Davon House

2. Prince Amukamara

3. Aaron Colvin (nickel)

4. Demetrius McCray (dime)

5. Brandon Marshall (reserve)

6. Peyton Thompson (waived if they don't keep six)

trade bait: Dwayne Gratz

Practice Squad: Josh Johnson

Brandon Marshall?

Nick Marshall may be ahead of McCray on the depth chart come September, and I'd bet we have a rookie as our CB2 instead of Amukamara by the end of the year.

I would love to see McCray get back to playing like we saw from him two years ago - but I think that ship has sailed.

His injury history is why he got a 1 year deal

I think McCray's odds of being off the roster are better than his being the dime corner. Unless, of course, Bradley's finally come to his senses about Gratz and Marshall.

Also, I fully expect a corner in the top three rounds come April.

Just based off how last season ended, I assume the order will be:

1. Davon House

2. Prince Amukamara

3. Aaron Colvin

4. Nick Marshall

5. Demetrius McCray
