You have no clue what he was thinking.

If you have a quote from Dave on that - then post it and stop making stuff up.

Dave said they made some inquiries about pass rushers at trade deadline. Think one of those was Mingo.

^I'm guessing this is what Bklyn is referencing.

How about trading for Willie Young of the Bears? I remember Alfie beating that drum hard during the trade deadline last year.

Quote:No he was great. He didn't get the sacks he did in his second year but he was very very good.

Here's a decent article about his rookie year: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/23098...ear-talent
Ah! I stand corrected. To your point, Ezikiel Ansah had a solid rookie season as well.

Looks like pure speculation from O'Halloran.

I was too. Not sure what he'd cost though.

Tweet from Mike Kaye (@mike_e_kaye) - I asked Dave yesterday about his openness to a trade, he said that typically happens after the draft. May not be worth waiting now...

When he's been healthy, his last 52 games he's played he hasn't allowed 100 receiving yards in any of the games.

That's just not true. He's played 55 out of a possible 80 games in his career and 48 out of a possible 64 since his rookie season. He's missed games but he hasn't been injured the majority of the time.

Bosa almost certainly has to be the pick now at #5.

We're really backing ourselves into a corner if that's our plan now.

The fact that we might get Bosa at #5 is why I think it's extremely risky to throw picks at New England for Chandler Jones right now. If we trade for Jones then draft Bosa we're going to have 3 young pass rushers who aren't going to be able to get enough game time between them.

Dave would be right to wait until after the draft unless he has no plan on drafting Bosa.

I don't get the feeling the Jags are as high on Bosa as some are. We're looking for a depth/rotational guy at LEO, not a full time guy. You can get those outside of the top 5.
