I caught the back end of ESPN ny radio show and they said something interesting. They said the Jags were monitoring the Demarcus Ware situation in Denver.


I would be in favor of this move as a stop gap situation.

Doesn't Sashi Brown have full control over roster moves? Hue playing GM is what got him fired from Oakland his first go around.

They never named a GM and are doing it by committee. All final say is rubber stamped by Sashi but really it is a think tank. We will see how that shakes out.

That's not our only need. We also need someone to cover TEs over the middle on 3rd downs so we can stop getting eaten alive by crossing routes and get the defense off the field

Having a pass rusher wont matter if the QB can sling it to the TE over the middle every time like they have done for years on us. Poz is a great tackler and very good in the run game but his coverage skills have been a liability for some time.

Also I'm assuming people are starting to realize that it's going to take 2 years to fix the defense, just like it did the offense. Hopefully, and I believe we can, do enough this off season to win more games next year and allow everyone to keep their jobs. Continuity is a good thing. I also think the fact that Dave is willing to let some of these free agents walk, Vernon and Auers, shows that his job is not on the line this year.

Yeah. Uhh.. I didn't know what to think about that except, Gus better have a killer shot or a heck of a back down game, cause an NFL cornerback should be quick, agile and one of the best athletes on yhe planet.
