Yup. To them, he is in the NFL and should be sharing the wealth. To him, there is a lot of uncertainty involved. In fact, when he got drafted by the Jets he didn't even rent his own place in New York. Sheldon Richardson bought a house and Will and one other guy rented rooms from him lol.

Their pie chart shows that the Jaguars are most likely to draft CB Jalen Ramsey if available otherwise they suspect ILB Myles Jack which most mock drafts reflect that too.

Bosa being the 3rd (i guess they assume he will be off the books by Cowboys if nobody else), which would make the real 3rd choice CB Vernon Hargreaves

Now that Free Agency has just about wrapped up, let's examine the haul:

1. Malik Jackson - DE/DT - I think he rotates with both Odrick and Marks at the 5T and the 3T and on passing downs with Miller at the 1T

2. Tashaun Gispson - FS - He frees up James Sample to take the SS spot

3. Chris Ivory - RB - This signifies that the Jags are serious about establishing their run game

4. Prince Amukamara - CB - Adds that 3rd CB that the Jags needed to upgrade their secondary

5. MacKenzy Bernadeau - OG - depth for all three interior positions plus ORT

(I am not going to count the replacement of a punter as any big deal)

Draft:

Rd 1(5): Myles Jack - MLB - UCLA - I still think the Browns will draft a QB in Rd 1

Rd 2(38): Ryan Kelly - C - Alabama - I think the Jags all but have to take this Center to round out the young Oline

Rd 3(69): Kamalei Correa - Otto/Leo - Boise State - More of a pass rusher than a stout run defender

Rd 4(105) Matt Judon - DE - Grand Valley State - Raw pass rusher but has size and speed and talent to play in the Leo Rotation

Rd 5(144) DeAndre - Houston-Carson - FS - William & Mary - Backup to Gipson

Rd 6(177) Tyler Johnstone - OT - Oregon - Swing OT

Rd 6(193): Curt Maggit - Otto/Leo - Tennessee - Injured all of 2015, but in 2014 was a heck of a pass rusher

Rd 7(213): Ejiro Ederaine - WLB - Fresno State - my sleeper pick for the 7th Round

(Note: The Jags may look to either Joshua Perry or Jordan Jenkins in Rd 3 if they wish to address the Otto more than a Leo candidate in Kamalei Correa.)

I'd re-sign Stefen Wisnieski if possible.

Then come the draft:

1) Myles Jack LB - Will play OTTO on 1st and 2nd and take over for Poz on 3rd

2) Trade our 2nd rounder to NE for Chandler Jones

3) Nick Martin/Sebastian Tretola - Third year in a row we bring in some talent on the interior line

4) Alex McCalister LEO - Great length and athleticism to be a LEO project

5) Glenn Gronkowski HBack - Will fill the H-Back role that Clay Harbor played

6) Tyler Johnstons OT - Competes with Josh Wells for the swing T spot

6) James Bradberry CB - Small school but fits the mold of a Gus corner

7) Kenyan Drake RB - Could give us an extra element on offense

QB - Bortles, Henne

RB - Yeldon, Ivory, Gray, Drake/Robinson

WR - Robinson, Walters, Benn/Sterling

WR - Hurns, Lee, Greene

TE - Thomas, Gronkowski, Koyack

TE - Lewis, Jacobs

LT - Joeckel, Wells

LG - Cann, Bernadeau

C - Bowanko/Wiz, 3rd rounder

RG - Linder, Shatley

RT - Parnell, Johnstone

LEO - Jones, Fowler, McCalister

DT - Jackson, Marks, Bennett

NT - Miller, Jones

DE - Odrik, Alualu, Davis

WLB - Smith, Pullard

MLB - Poz, Tripp

OTTO - Jack, Skuta

CB - Amukamara, Colvin, McCray/Gratz

FS - Gipson, Evans

SS - Cyp/Sample

CB - House, Bradberry, Marshall

K - Myers

P - Nortman

LS - Tinker

Looking like we will finally have a deep, well-rounded team. It's been a long time since we could say that.

Count me as a fan of trading the Jags Rd 2 pick to the Patriots for Chandler Jones, but then they would have to pay him at least 15 Mil per season - maybe more.

Carl Lawson - DE - Auburn Tigers did not enter the draft this year. He returned to Auburn.

I keep reading all this talk about Chandler Jones and 2nd round trades. Wasn't he hospitalized last year after smoking spice?

Save the second round pick and avoid the slice smoking idiot.

It seems that Free Agency is mostly over and now we can concentrate strictly on the draft:

I am changing things around in this mock draft offering my 1st option and my backup option

Rd 1 (5) Myles Jack - MLB - UCLA - If he is available, I think the Jags should take him over Joey Bosa and even Jalen Ramsey.

Rd 2(38): Jonathan Bullard - DE - Florida - He is my first choice, because I think he will represent good value and he offers a different kind of Leo DE on 1st and 2nd downs.

I think it would be cool to have Bullard play RDE and Fowler play WLB - as a rush OLB - both on the same side. Now I do not take Telvin Smith off the field, because Smith and Jack will cover the field anyway.

Rd 2 (38) Alternate pick - Carl Nassib - DE - Penn State - Leading the Big Ten in sacks must mean something - Nassib is all about hustle and is that not what JJ Watt brings to the table

Rd 3(69): Joshua Perry - SLB/Otto LB - Ohio State - tackling machine - blue collar - totally dedicated - He starts at Otto from Day One

Rd 3(69): Alternate - Jordan Jenkins - SLB/Otto - Georgia - a good alternate to Perry at the Otto LB - can hold the point and can give some pass rush

Rd 4(103): Matt Judon - DE - Grand Valley State - DE (Leo) - dominated his level of competition but is still very raw. - Rotational DE (could be a diamond in the rough)

Rd 4(103): Alternate - Victor Ochi - DE - Stony Brook - another player that dominated against lower competition - quick first step and again potentially another diamond in the rough as a pass rusher

Rd 5(146): Max Tuerk - C - USC - Late season ACL is what drops a Rd 3 pick to Rd 5. Developmental Center

Rd 5(146): Alternate - DeAndre Houston-Carson - FS - William & Mary - dominated his level of competition - kind of like Tashaun Gipson - could play CB in a pinch - tall and angular with lots of confidence

Rd 6(181): LeShaun Sims - CB - Southern Utah - sleeper at the CB spot, tall with good size, - developmental CB with lots of skills

Rd 6(181): Alternate - Stephen Weatherly - SLB/Otto LB - Vanderbilt - good speed for his size, but still has a ways to go - could be in the Leo rotation

Rd 6(201) Darrell Greene - OG - San Diego State - road grader in the run game, built for power and nasty demeanor

Rd 6(201): Alternate - Brandon Williams - CB - Texas A&M - very new to position with only one year as CB, was a RB at Oklahoma - fast sub 4.4 - developmental player

Rd 7(226): Ejiro Ederaine - WLB - Fresno State - all around OLB that can pass defend as well as rush the passer - true sleeper pick

Just a hypothetical, but would you trade 1.05 straight up for Robert Quinn?

Rams get their QB and #1 receiver while Jags get a 26 year old proven pass rusher on a cheap 4 year deal (likely renegotiated for a raise).

I don't think so. Quinn had some nagging injuries last season. I would definitely try and get picks as well.

Robert Quinn had back surgery last season when he went on IR. Anytime an athlete has back problems you have to the leery of what the future may bring regarding his level of play.

I think Myles Jack could be the impact MLB that puts the Jags over the top on defense.

Back surgery? Good grief no.

1. Myles Jack LB UCLA- Impact player from Day 1. Adds speed/athleticism to a defense that is in dire need of that. Jack/Smith on nickel packages is a good, young combo.

2. Artie Burns CB Miami- I've posted about him a few times on this board. Received horrible coaching and played in a passive scheme while at Miami. With Prince on a 1 year prove it deal that gives Burns a year to develop before he is forced into significant playing time. #1 CB potential with his size/speed.

3. Christian Westerman G Arizona State- Fills the hole on the inside of the line. Linder moves to C forming a young trio for the interior.

4. Victor Ochi Leo Stony Brook- I dont think we are finding an instant impact pass rusher in this draft. Ochi is a small school prospect who was very productive. Could potentially be a steal a few years down the road.

5. Denver Kirkland G/T Arkansas- Powerful player who played both guard and tackle in college. Can provide quality depth at 4 positions across the line.

6. Deon Bush S Miami- Now that we have Gipson, our SS can play that in the box type role. Bush excels in that role but his injury concerns cause him to fall. Very talented player.

6. Luke Rhodes MLB William and Mary- Tackling machine from a small school. Developmental player who will contribute on special teams.

7. Jon Jones CB Auburn- Provides depth at nickel CB and special teams.

Undrafted Free Agents- A few guys I would like us to bring in:

Steve Longa LB Rutgers- Declared early, should have stayed in school 1 more year. Very productive and played all 3 LB positions while at Rutgers.

Peyton Barber RB Auburn- Declared early as well but as a redshirt sophomore. Has good size and vision but not fast. Productive at Auburn last year. Possible practice squad player that can end up a 2/3 option at RB.

Rashawn Scott WR Miami- Undrafted WR from Miami again? Sign me up. Scott had some injuries at Miami and never really put it all together but did flash at times.

Sean Price TE USF- Athletic tight end but doesn't have ideal size (only 6-2ish). Could develop into a 2nd option at tight end.

For those that believe that Jonathan Bullard can only play DT in the NFL, it probably should be noted that Dante Fowler Jr, played some DT while at Florida, just as Bullard did. As I recall, Fowler got his weight up in the 270s to play the middle, and then lost it to become a bit quicker.

In terms of comparable DEs that are close to the size of Jonathan Bullard - 6'3" 285 Lbs

Charles Johnson - DE - Panthers - 6'2" 282 Lbs

Julius Peppers - DE - Packers - 6'7" 287 lbs

Carlos Dunlap - DE - Bengals - 6'6" 280 Lbs

Ezekiel Ansah - DE - Lions - 6'5" 278 Lbs

J.J. Watt - DE - Texans - 6'5" 289 Lbs

Mario Williams - DE - Dolphins - 6'6" 292 Lbs

Is Bullard ideally suited for the Leo position? Probably not, but he does offer pass rush capability on 1st and 2nd down while defending the edge against the run.

In my mind, the Jags 2nd Round pick could come down to the BAP Dlineman, which I believe will end up being three players

1. Jonathan Bullard - Florida

2. Carl Nassib - DE - Penn State

3. Austin Johnson - NT - Penn State
