Sign Beachum tomorrow and kick Joeckel inside to LG

Move Linder to center, and all of a sudden you have one of the most athletic offensive lines in football. Luke is already an above average run defender and I think his athleticism would allow him to shine in pass pro if he were moved inside. Luke's upside as a guard is just better than his upside as a LT, regardless of where he's moved he needs to continue to bulk up in the weight room.

You can't just move tackles over to guard, it doesn't always work that way. Luke would get bull rushed back into Bortles' lap every play by DTs.
10 years ago we had Bob Hope, Johnny Cash, and Steve Jobs..... Please don't die, Kevin Bacon.

Thats why I said "he needs to bulk up in the weight room regardless". Tackles are kicked inside to guard all the time, not saying it will work with Luke but it's worth a shot, if Beachum is signed there won't be a "competition" at LT, Beachum is simply a much better player than Luke.

Linder and Cann will be the 2 Guards.

Not sure he'd be much better at guard. I envision him being another Beadles. Cann and Linder are good guards because they are maulers. Joeckel is just isn't.

Hell get tossed around at guard even worse lol

I'd rather keep LJ as a swing tackle. We could do much worse than him as a backup tackle.

You realize we going into next season with the exact same line right? They're gonna resign Wiz.

Pretty much. With the exception of Cann at LG instead of Beadles. Which that alone makes things significantly better

If we do somehow land Beechum, even with Wiz (who was fine in Pass Pro) we're a much better unit.

Beechum or Joeckel

Cann

Wiz

Linder

Parnell

Regardless, it's better than last year.

Looks good on paper.  Probably would on the field too.

(I also don't think I'd trust Luke at guard as some suggest.)

Luke Joeckel would get abused as a guard.

Linder or Cann at LG instead of Beadles is a massive upgrade. So no, the line won't the be the same. If we resign Wiz it still gets drastically better.

The Joke cant handle 250- 290 lb pound DEs. You think he can handle 290 + DTs bullrushing him back to back?

I want no part of Joeckel at guard and I don't understand why people think he would succeed there.

He can be the swing tackle and settle in there while Beachum takes over if we sign him.

If Beachum is healthy he has to take the starting job one would think.

Sorry.... Basically the same OLine with Linder added.

Which will help but Joke and Wiz continue to be weak links.
