The GOP has spent over $500 million dollars (half of a billion trying to stop Trump) and the people instead gave him 20 states that he won, 693 delegates and 7,541,464 popular vote so far.

Queue up the democratic or republican doomsday'er saying that we wasted our votes on Trump. These people are turtles with their heads securely tucked in their shells, upset and scared because their career politician isn't receiving the votes necessary to stay in the race and win the nomination.

He is the ONLY Republican who isn't beating beat Hillary Clinton in head to head matchups.

8 months before election day...

Not to mention the same polling shows bernie sanders beating everyone but no one really thinks he would be competative in a general election.

One thing is certain, the strongest sentiment in the electorate right now is "anti establishment." thats going to show up when it counts.

One thing is certain, the strongest sentiment in the electorate right now is "anti establishment." thats going to show up when it counts.

That's one possibility.   Another possibility is that as election day approaches, people will start to get frightened about what they are about to do, and some of that anti-establishment feeling will go away.   They might start to say, "This was fun for a while, but do I really want this to happen?"

Also, you say about Bernie Sanders, "no one really thinks he would be competative in a general election."   Isn't that exactly what they say about Trump?

And then you say, "the strongest sentiment in the electorate right now is "anti establishment." thats going to show up when it counts."  Isn't that also true about Bernie Sanders?

One thing we should have learned over the last few elections, and that is, the polls are usually right.   Remember all those Republicans who claimed the polls were wrong and in actuality, Romney was on his way to victory over Obama?

Bernie s bull [BLEEP] isnt anti-establishment, it's hyper-establishment.

Interesting, if you watch the video about building the wall, the numbers are almost exactly what Trump said they would be. Some of you think he just throws crap against the wall, but the guy is a financial guru.

Financial guru?

Trump Mortgage.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/...story.html

"As some economists and Wall Street traders began to sense danger ahead of the crippling housing market collapse of 2008, Donald Trump waved away the worries and offered a concrete expression of confidence in the industry.

“I think it’s a great time to start a mortgage company,”  Trump told a CNBC interviewer in April 2006, adding that “the real estate market is going to be very strong for a long time to come.”

"Within 18 months, as the experts’ worst fears began to pan out and home prices began to dip, Trump Mortgage closed, leaving some bills unpaid and a spotty sales record that fell short of Trump’s lofty predictions."

LMBO, so now you people are trying to pin the housing market collapse of 2008 on Don? You people will really stop at nothing.

Now we have his comments on Tiananmen Square.  Saying China was 'strong' and that it was a 'riot'.  Sounds like a communist to me.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

No, no one is trying to pin the collapse on him.   What people are saying is, if the guy is such a "financial guru," why did he start a mortgage company at the height of the housing bubble?   He went on record as saying housing would be going strong for a long time, and the housing market immediately collapsed.

That puts him in the boat with almost everybody in this country. Everybody was getting into Real Estate at that time and so many people I know bought houses during that time.  So this is yet another meaningless dig on Trump.

I agree.   What I think it proves is that he is not a "financial guru" as some of his supporters claim.   There were many experts at the time telling us that housing was in a bubble and when it popped, the result would be a financial disaster.   Trump ignored those warnings.   He started Trump Mortgage, he said housing was going to strong for a long time, and within a few months, the housing market started its collapse, taking Trump Mortgage with it.

That's why I'm saying, it's wrong to call him a financial guru.
