Quote:Similar to Prince let him prove it first. I'd say its a two year deal at best.
If he proves it he's getting 12 mil a year next year, and most likely from a different team. Much more wise for a team with our cap space to give him like 5 years, 40 mil right now.

Free-agent LB Sean Spence visited the Jaguars today.

Very good news the signing of Beachum, hopefully he'll be healthy enough to be the new LT starter. At worst we have much better depth than we did with Sam Young.

Former Steelers' OT Kelvin Beachum reached agreement with Jacksonville, per league source.

Yes good news, now Luke wont have more room to suck, also keeps us from drafting a freaking LT again in the top 10

Also Sean Spence would be a nice pick up for ST brings some speed to the LB core

The irony here is Beachum was a 7th round pick.
10 years ago we had Bob Hope, Johnny Cash, and Steve Jobs..... Please don't die, Kevin Bacon.

Yep, and hopefully the Seahawks are dumb or cash strapped enough to think Webb is their only realistic outside help at LT...but probably not.

Down to Jags, Jets, Ravens, and maybe still Seahawks for Beachum that we know of right?

Partial answer maybe...

hearing RT for Webb....not sure what that means for GG

Don't know. I think with Jaguars signing Beachum and Harris to Pittsburgh we could maybe get Okung back. Of course Detroit is also still after him.

I doubt Webb will play LT. More likely RT (with Gilliam probably going to LT) or maybe RG.

Glad to hear about Beachum. Should give Joeckel a run for his position assuming he's healthy.

Spence is a guy I've liked since last year. He's somewhat of a miscast in the Steelers 3-4 defense but could possibly excel as a 4-3 OLB. Even being an odd fit he was a guy that was always around the ball and making plays.

This guy has a nose for the ball. Even going back to his Miami days he was always in the middle of the pile. Would be a solid pickup and would bring some speed to the D.

Didn't Spence's knee get obliterated though?

There goes another potential stop gap pass rusher.

He is 31, not going to a team that isn't a current likely contender. He wants a chip, that means go to Brady.
