Trump warns of riots if he's not nominated

Quote:Except it's not the vote of the people. Trump would still have a minority of the vote. With all due respect to the "you didnt tell us how this all works" crowd, according to current rnc rules in order for any name to be put forward for nomination in an open convention they have to have won the majority of delegates in 8 states. The party is now openly talking about changing said rule. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Life's not fair, and Trumpies are going to find that out sooner or later when a brokered convention results in someone else being the GOP nominee. They would be fine with that imo since they would rather have Hillary than him.
Trump? Hillary? We're screwed. That is all I will say on the subject.

Quote:Trump? Hillary? We're screwed. That is all I will say on the subject. Pretty much. How did we get here?
If you voted for Obama and now are suddenly like "EWW how did we get Hillary vs Trump?"
Stop. Obama got a peace prize and then step by step destabilized the middle east. He is in no way superior to any failed president we've ever had. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:Trump will be the nominee, so don't sweat that other stuff. I wouldn't be so sure about that. The odds and the math are definitely not in his favor. 1237 delegates is the "magic number" in the republican primary. Trump currently has 678 delegates so that means that he needs 559 more in order to reach that number. Cruz currently has 413 delegates so that means that he needs 824 more in order to reach that number. Kasich currently has 143 delegates so that means that he needs 1094 more in order to reach that number (mathematically impossible). There are only 946 total delegates available between now and the convention. Kasich is already mathematically eliminated. Odds are that neither Cruz nor Trump can win a large majority of the remaining delegates. Of the remaining 946 delegates available, 597 are from "winner take all" states with the biggest prize being California with 172 delegates. An argument can be made that Cruz would win the state because of the high Hispanic population and Donald Trump's anti-immigration rhetoric. An argument could also be made for Trump for the very same reason. The same could be said about Arizona with 58 "winner take all" delegates. In my opinion, we are headed for a brokered convention. If that's the case, I highly doubt that Trump ends up as the nominee. Those that scream "the party is going against the will of the people" won't understand that Trump would have failed to get a majority of support from the republican party. There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't.

Cruz cheating in Iowa and Kasich being the turd that won't flush and not dropping out before Ohio will end up being the game changing plays that keeps Trump from 1237 if he ends up not getting it. Stupid democracy. Quote:Obama did not invade Iraq. His predecessor did.
