My guy is Artie Burns CB Miami for our 2nd round pick. I posted about him in another threat but while he is a little raw, he has #1 CB potential. He has been sliding up draft boards lately (#3 on Kiper's CB list I believe) so I hope he makes it to us.

Quote:If Bosa and Ramsey are gone I want the best defensive player at #5. If both of them are gone I expect either Vernon CB or DL Buckner.
Quote:I've kinda just started watching tape on draftbreakdown, but I have some worries about both Ramsey and Hargreaves. He gets burned by fast receivers. Reason I said love him to go to tenn. And be on Hurns.

Back to Back edge/pass rushers the 1st two rounds. Best available pass rushers on the board. Thats what I'd like to see. I know we have Fowler but I see it similarly to when WR was the weak part of the offense and focal point of the draft. In 2014 we went Wr,wr with back to back 2nd round picks. We didnt know what was up with Blackmon who we'd just drafted 2 yrs prior. Thr position of need was so great, we had to double down to ensure atleast one or both of those guys would be a playmaker. Hoping that if Blackmon came back, it would be icing.
So, and well, here we are. Great position of need. Pass rush. More spicifically, edge rusher. Even with the hopes that Fowler turns out to be what we expect, this draft is so deep with pass rushers and the need is so great that I can see us taking 2 guys early to hopefully ensure that the weakness becomes a strength. We play in a division with a couple of highly talented, very athletic QB's. Got to get to the QB as well as move him off his spot. In a perfect world, Bosa and Emanuel Ogbah
You Gotta Be Able To Run Da' Rock~
My Guy is Myles Killebrew, Only if you use him as a box safety or even at backer. I think he could add weight and be a killer inside backer. Also a fan.
Im also pounding the table for a freakish burner like Kolby Listenbee And regardless at 5 i think it should be Jack, Bosa, Or VH3

Vernon Butler, guy is gonna be a beast! Has long arms and really good burst and if you have those 2 things as a DT watch out!
Quote:Also, if he is falling, say down to the early 20s for some reason, I'd be fine with us jumping back into the 1st and snagging him. I really like Alexander but we just signed Prince remember. Alexander would probably only see spot duty in year one if we landed him.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

To be fair to rocdee, you quoted a nearly two month old post. Quote:To be fair to rocdee, you quoted a nearly two month old post. Hahahah wow, I didn't even notice. Welp, nvm that. To be fair to myself, I normally don't wake up until noon. Haha

Two guys I like are Schobert and Killebrew. Both would initially be great special teams players and eventually compete for playing time at OTTO and strong safety respectively.

I found my "All-Underwear" Team Captain of 2016:
Quote:Eastern Michigan running back Darius Jackson -- 6-1, 220 -- ran the 40 in 4.35 and 4.38 seconds. He had a 41-inch vertical and 11-foot-1 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.27 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.82 seconds. Jackson is from Sparta, Ill., and wanted to be a baseball player. He went to EMU because the school promised that he could play both baseball and football. Jackson ultimately decided that football was his cup of tea. Jackson -- who had 1,078 yards and 14 touchdowns rushing in 2015 -- had a dynamite pro-day workout, and could be a late-round selection in the 2016 NFL Draft. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000645656/article/michigan-qb-jake-rudock-turned-a-lot-of-heads-at-pro-day

Joey Bosa either as a 3 tech DT, LE, or even OTTO on the Jaguars scheme defense.
I assume they move Odrick inside and put Bosa at LE or they might move Bosa to OTTO & move Skuta to LE & Odrick to DT.
Quote:Myles Jack regardless!I just dont get drafting a guy with bad knees that might not be ready to play at the start of the season at #5 overall... i guess i am the only one that has that concern on here... |
