Ryan Kelly would be better. But not sure he will be in the second round.

Nah 38 would be too high for Martin.

From the way Gus and Caldwell have talked about Linder at C I think it's much more likely we'll be drafting a guard. They said they don't want to move Cann from RG or LG and they are very confident in Linder at C, so that leaves the other guard spot open. Unless they feel there's a potential top C available in third round, not earlier than that I think.

Notre same ol' overrated team.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

With the addition of beachum, and this mounting speculation that linder to center is going to happen, our line is in really good shape on paper. I agree with you that we are probably looking at drafting a guard as depth a little later than it looked before free agency.

I agree, I just hope we manage to draft a guard or a C that's very good with the run blocking as that's what we need most help with on the offensive line. Cann, Linder and a good guard at that and we could finally have some running game going without compromising pass blocking especially if Beachum comes back strong from the injury and he upgrades what we had with Joeckel.

I haven't watched much of Olinemen prospescts but I've read around there are a few good ones that should be there in later rounds.

Caldwell has a good eye for 3rd round Guards. If they're really moving Linder, I'd expect to see a decent one drafted. I also wouldn't be surprised to see us bring back Wiz for insurance either

That's true and that gives me hope we'll be able to draft a very good player in the middle rounds that will form a very young interior offensive line to hopefully get the running game going.

Gus was very direct yesterday about Linder, he said that at C they want a young player that can be there for a long time (this was his answer to a question concerning Wiz return, which he didn't rule out but it seemed more for a backup-depth role to me) and that they believe Linder can be that player.
