Quote:This is the scenario that scares me. There are 4 elite players in this draft IMO and we could potentially miss out on every one of them Lawson is prettt damn good. Just watch him. You may like him better than Bosa. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:Lawson is prettt damn good. Just watch him. You may like him better than Bosa.I like Lawson but I don't think he's there with Bosa at this point in time. I think people are trying to make themselves ok with this scenario and due to this being downtime for draft info they overthink things. Bosa is a top 5 talent. Lawson I think is better in 10-15 range, but if we think he can be an impact pass rusher then who cares what I or anyone else thinks. We desperately need it. Quote:Lawson is prettt damn good. Just watch him. You may like him better than Bosa. Haha, I've seen almost every one of his games and I agree, he's pretty good. He's a better fit at LEO for us than Kevin Dodd, but I feel like overall Dodd is a little better. That being said, I don't see him as "elite" very good, yes, but we could pick him up at 10 just as easily as 5
10 years ago we had Bob Hope, Johnny Cash, and Steve Jobs..... Please don't die, Kevin Bacon.

He looks to be a guy who will be a quality rusher. Someone who can get sacks in bunches. To me that fits the bill and is worthy of a top 5 selection. Looking back Chanler Jones proly should have gone top 5 lol.

But Id take him at 5 if I had too. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:Keuchly is only 230. He could play MLB no problem. Zak freaking Thomas was too small too
Quote:Would Scooby Wright play OTTO or inside for us?probably start out at otto then possibly move to to mlb We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:probably start out at otto then possibly move to to mlbHonestly, in a quality NFL linebacker corps I think Scooby is probably riding the pine.

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

I doubt there's a LB corps Scooby Wright would ever be a starter on, even ours.
Quote:Keuchly is only 230. He could play MLB no problem.Today's NFL is calling for faster guys, who can run, cover, and tackle. The big bruiser MLB is a dying breed. I think 225 will be the new 240-250 for MLBs lol. I've been hearing it more and more. They are talking about how the college game affects the NFL. With draft picks not being ready, etc etc. But someone mentioned that some college stuff is leaking over and so the NFL teams now need faster LBs and lighter D-Linemen. Versatility is key in today's NFL. I'd much prefer a mid round groomer if we don't get Jack in the first (for Poz's replacement) I like a guy like Scooby Wright (at Otto)
Quote:Keuchly is only 230. He could play MLB no problem. Where did you get 230 from? He was 242 at the combine. NFL.com has him listed at 238 as does the panthers website.

I think being light for a LB is only possible when you are an elite athlete for the position.
If you are 225 - you better run a 4.5 flat if you want to play LB well. You also better be a good coverage LB. Telvin Smith's ideal weight is probably 225 if he stays this fast. I've also heard that at times he gets down to ~205 lbs which is too light.
