Ted Cruz Could Win the General Election

#1

Why do I say that?

Because Heidi Cruz is a very attractive, well-educated, charming person, and she can be used to soften his image.

I know, people don't vote for first lady, but image is everything, and if Ted Cruz plays this correctly, he can contrast Ted/Heidi with Hillary/Bill, and that could make some difference.  How much?   I'd say quite a bit, since he has an image right now as somewhat of a hard-[BLEEP] who wants to blow everything up over ideology.

Laughing   That's a good one.

Ted Cruz can't win the general election.  You know why?  Because he can't appeal to moderates.  It's a joke to think that his wife can 'soften' his image.  His wife isn't going to undo his record.  She's not going to be able to take back anything he's said.  Heck, he can't even beat Donald Trump in the primaries.  Oh and he's a completely unlikable, disingenuous, pandering wackobird.  He's worse than Trump.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

His wife has connections with the Bush family, Goldman-Sachs, and globalist orgs.  That's not a good thing imo.

Good point. Vegas has 4/1 odds on the public seeing Ted's top row of teeth if he wins the nomination.

Don't trust Cruz. ...and that's from a far right conservative. If Hillary is elected I may seriously have to think about moving out of the country. Her after 8 years of Obama? Ugh

Cruz has a voting record that backs up his rhetoric. Whether you like his policies or not is a different story, but he was/is the only candidate other than Rand Paul who would cut government spending.

I actually think trump will. Baseline budgeting and no big contract are drivers on the discretionary side. I think he would run it more like a business.

In order for Ted Cruz to be the Republican Nominee he would have to win out almost all of the states which isn't going to happen, and neither is him winning at a contested convention.  If Donald Trump doesn't win the delegates we will most likely have Kasich as the nominee.

Ted Cruz, the dude that shut down the government on a quixotic mission of known failure, and then in a true shining example of being self unaware read "green eggs and ham" during the shut down?

That Ted Cruz is gonna win the national election. Ha!

Though, now that the republican sell outs and progressives are all backing Cruz, it looks like he's gonna steal the primary from trump...

Harry Reid "shut down" the government by refusing to allow a Senate vote on the House spending bill.

Although every essential part of the government kept running, so calling it a "shutdown" is a gross exaggeration.
