Quote:I see that, just don't think Goff will be as good as Ryan. And a lot of folks have turned on Ryan, too. Ryan has certainly let his team down. He is limited physically, but his accuracy and decision making was supposed to trump a lot of other qbs and it has been questionable.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

That could happen to a lot of good QBs when the franchise lets the rest of the team disintegrate around you. Happened here with Brunell.

Happened here with Brunell. The inability for the Falcons to effectively replace TE Tony Gonzalez has probably had the greatest adverse impact on Matt Ryan. On top of that, it certainly hasn't helped Ryan that Roddy White declined substantially and the team's Defense has been far from a team strength. Quote:Bosa reminds me of Patrick Kearney I thought Patrick Kerney was an underrated player, who had many good seasons. Yet, if it turns out that Joey Bosa follows the career path of Patrick Kerney, he probably should be drafted somewhere between 11th and 20th instead of being a top 10 pick. Ryan can still play at a high level if you put the pieces around him. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

Agreed. One addition in particular that should help Matt Ryan in 2016 is the FA signing of WR Mohamed Sanu. He should be a noticeable upgrade over Roddy White. On the other hand, it remains to be seen what C Alex Mack will provide the Falcons this coming season. Quote:Do you agree that Bosa is a better prospect than his dad? My memory of John Bosa is vague for the most part. I could be mistaken but what is coming back to me is that John Bosa was projected to be drafted somewhere in the 2nd half of Round 1 in 1987. I think he went earlier than most expected would be the case. John Bosa only lasted 3 years in the NFL. I believe a major issue is he didn't have enough flexibility ( too much stiffness ) . The amount of 1st Round draft busts or even somewhat disappointments with Defensive Line prospects from that draft was extremely high. One of the very few who panned out was Eagles DT Jerome Brown, who was tragically killed a few years later in an auto accident. Joey Bosa is clearly a better prospect than his father. Yet, as a result, expectations for Joey Bosa are much higher. It should help Joey Bosa that his father went through the pre-draft process and life as a rookie. Ultimately though, Joey Bosa needs to remain focused on and off the field, as he's going to have the spotlight on him in the NFL..
Quote:Yes he is [BLEEP] are you smoking? He was no where near as dynamic of an athlete and playmaker as P2! Stop being dumb.
I expect a big splash in this year's draft, because
The Jaguars can start the nine-week program on April 18th - Florida Times Union Jaguars have No.'s 5,38,69,103,146,181,201, and 226. -FTU ------------- I know the Jaguars had Eli Apple on the schedule, do you know of any others at the moment?
