Wow, I hate to play the role of grammar and spelling police but "would of (twice), may of, Farve and tollerate" are just too much to take.

It's would've or would have.

It's may have.

It's Favre.

It's tolerate.

Is it too much of a curve for you? Should my grammer be a slider?

Do you not believe peoples expressions could be change ups?

Cause instead of substance ya reply was a screw ball.

But swing for the fences. And ya out.

Quote:Say we draft Bosa and Lawson drops to mid 20s. Would u trade back in round one. To get Lawson even though ya got bosa.

Or do nothing and say we are all set.

Mods please move this to draft section.

From what I have read M. Jackson is going to play DT, that leaves RE a question mark if you have Odrick & Fowler playing that role than Joey Bosa is going to be the perm LE.

If you move up in the first round to get Lawson I assume you are giving up next years first (which if things go like the last 3 years is a top 5 pick) in addition to 2nd and or 3rd round pick (guess)

You have to be sure that Lawson is worth a high 5 IMO to do that trade.

We would not have to give up next years first to move into the 20s

IMO.

I would do this move, except like earlier posters have said we could hopefully get Spence in the 2nd, I'd be happy with that. However if this was to happen and we was to jump into the 20s to nab Lawson I'd be happy aswel rotating Dline is monstrous and will allow us to keep constant pressure on the opposing QBs.

I agree but a team has to be willing to trade you the mid 20s (assuming he is there) and they are going to want a fair trade (1st next years and this years 3rd)?

I used to think you were just a spoiled teenager but now after seeing things like this, I'm more inclined to think you're closer to a potato, solely based on IQ.

Quote:No thx, we have Fowler and to add Bosa would be solid. Would rather upgrade another position

^^I understand this reasoning. I think it is a logical stance.

However, I personally don't agree with it. We have no way of knowing yet how good Fowler and Bosa will actually be at this level.

If both guys are guaranteed to be solid, then yes, I would agree. But, what if one or both of those guys do not become the disruptive force needed? It's possible.

I would be in favor of getting another pass rusher. It is the most important part of the defense (what the Jags have been sorely lacking). The odds of having at least 1 of 3 new guys turning into a terrific player is very good. If all 3 pan out,,, that's GOLD.

** My first draft preference is to get Bosa. But, drafting Jack and then getting a DE in the 2nd or moving back into the 1st round would be terrific also.

You tell um man!

To add to it. When people lose things of substance. To talk about. They automatically take shots at people.

Cause can't stand defeat. And have to resort to childish behavier.

And technically what appears right in text form. Is because someone created it to be that way. And people conform to the standard. Well. I have no box.

No need to be the status quo. And no use to conform to others wishes.

People always know what I am saying. They just chose to hide behind words that make them appear smart. But to me. Their just silly and childish. And yes I used wrong version of there.

And did it twice. Just so people could wine. He didnt spell things right.

It is what it is.  I just get agitated when ppl act like US English is the language standard when in the UK ppl think It's hilarious and don't understand us smh.  Yet, right here in the US of A, we have Grammar Police on the Jags forum....I digress.

The difference is, it seriously takes effort to read TTR's posts. Like go back and read sentences 3 or 4 times just to figure out if there should be a comma here or a question mark there. Oh wow! A period....what's it doing there?

It's not a case of just knocking a guy because he spells a world wrong. It's the fact that he completely reinvents syntax as the rest of the world knows it. Like his own personal grammar rules that no one is accustomed to.

Better to have two unknown pass rushers than one.

Grab a box of band aids, stick them on where it hurts, and cuddle up with a few good books. You'll be fine.
