Yup that is why I hate when people say wait til next year QB class is loaded, Mel Kiper was on ESPN talking about how next year class could be loaded at QB, this is why we need to get Teddy this year, cant mess around things change all the time.

I'm not digging Manziel

I would prefer one of the other two.

You know, the more people cram these quarterbacks down our throats the less attractive they actually become.

Spoiler alert for 2014:

- Draftniks pick a few high upside underclassmen to watch, begin pumping them when they tear up their OOC schedules as usual

- Most return back to earth when conference schedules begin, their flaws become obvious

- Winston is obviously the best prospect even though he gets nitpicked to death all fall

- Several of those high upside underclassmen decide to return for another year of school, so the class thins

- Everyone not in position to draft Winston begins hyping up Hackenberg 2016 and talking about how deep the next crop will be

Rinse and repeat. The Luck/RGIII combo was special.

Every year its the same story:  "Next year's QB Draft class is going to be stacked!"

Then when the draft actually arrives we all realize that its slim pickings.

Still a really deep class.  Its not necessarily top heavy.  But still have Bridgewater,  manziel,  boyd,  McCarron,  mettenberger and murray are still there (just going to drop because of the acls), bortles,  and i suppose carr, who may just be the second or third qb taken now based on people thinking he is a "safe pick"

Probably even leaving someone out.

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Just saw Mettenberger is out with a torn ACL. Him and Murray both. Wow.

Still think RG3 is a franchise QB? That really only further serves your point.

What is hilarious is Schefter sent out some tweet that the 2014 is not as strong but 2015 looks fantastic. It's almost like we could just replay sound bites and re-post tweets every offseason. Next year is always the year, until next year comes.

Still nobody wants to talk about how average Luck has been this year?  And RG3 not being anything close to last year?  Ok, I'll just keep on keepin on.

Yep. I think Luck caught a huge break by going to Indianapolis. He is out of the spotlight. I mean outside of Indiana and whoever they are playing, nobody gets their games on TV. If he was in a big market like New York or DC, he would be getting talked about alot more. There was another thread comparing Luck to Dalton and there really was not much of a difference in terms of team record and their own stats. But people blast Dalton as average and crown Luck as the second-coming.

If we don't get bridgewater, I want Manziel. I think he's got potential. He makes all the throws you want. Gus wants a dual QB, Manziel would be perfect

The Mettenberger injury was weird. Just yesterday evening, they were saying he would be back for the bowl game and now it is a torn ACL. It's been five days, you'd think it would not take that long to diagnose. I think that one hurts more than Mariota or Murray. I never thought Mariota would come out anyway. And listening to O'Hallaron on the radio yesterday, the team didn't think he would either.

For the people who think Manziel would of lasted till the 2nd, by draft day, bet he's top 10 selection
