Mackenzie Alexander, CB, Clemson

The point is legit, too. The people clamoring for VH3 over any of those three (the way you'd want VH3 over Ramsey) appear to be homer Florida fans.

I want VH3 if Jack, Ramsey, and Bosa are gone.

Could just get Noah Spence and Alex McCalister for edge rushers later on. You guys talk like VH3 is a 2nd round and below talent, not sure why, but that's why people are defending him.

I dont feel we need a FS and VH3 is the best corner in the draft imo. Its not hard to find people other than Florida fans that think VH3 is the better pure corner than Ramsey.

No, I'm acting like VH3 shouldn't be taken at #5 overall over one of those three if they fall to 5. If one of them don't fall to 5, that means the LT or the QB do and we trade back. Taking VH3 at 5 is a reach because there is no chance of a better option not being available.

Try telling that to some of the other Florida fans, though.

We don't need a FS but we need another corner? Prince House and Colvin?

Not to mention Ramsey isn't locked into the FS spot. The dude can play anywhere in the backfield.

VH3 would not be best available at 5. We don't need to worry though. Dave isn't picking VH3... A QB will go top 5 leaving Jack for us and everyone is happy.

It's hard to find non-Florida fans that think VH3 should be drafter higher than Ramsey.

Hopefully but I think Dallas takes Jack and Bosa falls to us and I would be more than happy with that

why do u guys keep calling for a trade back as if its just a given anyone wants to trade up for these qbs. And even if someone did, trading with the ravens is just as likely.

I think it's more likely than not that a team would want to move up. Why is it a given that they wouldn't want to trade up?

From NFL.com

Alexander was a two-year starter at cornerback for the Tigers. He lacks ideal size but he's very fluid, instinctive and tough. He plays a lot of press/bail technique as well as off coverage. He has very quick feet and he's efficient with his lower-body movement. He does a good job of staying in phase down the field and he doesn't allow opponents to get on top of him. It's tough to gauge his ability to play the ball because he is rarely challenged in the games I studied. His lack of production is a concern (zero career interceptions) but it might be simply because he lacked opportunity. He is very aggressive against the run and a sure tackler in space. Overall, Alexander lacks ideal size and production but I love his movement skills and toughness. He has the tools to be an excellent No. 2 cornerback or an elite nickel.

Okay in the 2nd round but not at pick #5 Vernon is way better and will be available at 5.

The only player I can see teams jumping the Ravens for is Elliot.

Ramsey Bosa or Jack will be there.

A QB and Tunsil are going top 5. It's a virtual lock at this point.

1. Bosa/Jack

2. Alexander??

no, I dont think he will. He will be the 2nd db off the board behind Ramsey though and a top 10 pick

I think the only locks for top 10 are Tunsil, Ramsey, Jack, Bosa, Buckner, and a QB. Then you have another QB, Stanley, VH3, Lawson, Elliot fighting for the next 4 spots probably. Maybe Rankins or a Floyd surpriser. It'll be close.

Like I said, he is a reach at 5. Looks like we agree.

So who do you want at 5 if Tunsil, Ramsey, Jack, and Bosa are all gone?
