I doubt we would have taken Sherman at #10 overall although it's a nice thought. Were there any draft analysts at the time saying that Sherman should be a first round pick? was anyone on this MB at the time saying we should draft him?

It's based on player's success in the league up to this point. Says so right in the article.

This is a redraft, knowing what we know now Sherman wouldnt make it to pick 10.

Trying to figure out these what if reads, but f it was based on want JJ Watt would go first overall & if he didn't I would surely be scratching my head as to why not... he's the clear Hall of Fame caliber player every year he has played since being drafted while the others had ups & downs (plus no question of his character unlike others on the top 10 list).

 

Let's just say with Von Miller's love for Johnny Football I would not be shocked if Von gets in trouble with the law or NFL this year or next... maybe the guy's simply been lucky (drug related).

The Jags do over should start with not trading up for the 10th pick and giving up an extra 2nd.  Gene Smith was so bad as a GM that the Sixers don't even want him.
