Not really one of the teams i see as looking to trade up. Better over value at 4. i think if were talking trade up. Im going with eagles or 9ers

I think the Titans will be aggressive in trying to move down and the Cowboys are blowing a bunch of smoke on not being in on a QB. I think the Titans would love to be able to trade down and end up at 4 and the Cowboys would love to be able to trade up for Wentz. In this scenario I see the draft falling like this for the first 7 picks:

 

1. Cowboys: Wentz

2. Browns: Goff

3. Chargers: Tunsil

4. Titans: Ramsey

5. Jags: Jack

6. Ravens: Buckner

7. Niners: Bosa

8. Eagles: Elliot

9. Bucs: Stanley

10. Giants: Hargreaves

 

I know a lot of Dallas fans want a QB but Dallas actions appear not as interested in replacing Romo as some of their fans.  I don't see Dallas trading up IMO.

If you truly trust all the fans hype of LB Myles Jack why on earth wouldn't the Titans draft him 1st overall knowing that they need help on LB?

 

#1.) Titans draft LB Myles Jack

 

Browns like running exciting QBs and got RG3 to replace Johnny Football but without a good LT doesn't matter who the QB is so instead they draft.

 

#2.) Browns LT Laremy Tunsil

 

The chargers take the most athletic person in the draft that fits a need hoping he's a shut down corner but if nothing else can upgrade FS this season.

 

#3.) Chargers  CB Jalen Ramsey

 

Maybe trade down, but Godfather Gil praises Joey, and Dallas needs an edge rusher badly some say he's JJ Watt others say Ryan Kerrigan Cowboys would take either.

 

#4.) Cowboys   DE Joey Bosa

 

Time for the Jacksonville Jaguars #5 overall pick with no team drafting a QB as of yet they expect tons of phone calls to trade down but Dave hasn't traded out of 1st yet so ..

 

#5.) Jaguars draft CB Vernon Hargreaves III


 

 

I could see the Ravens trading up for Jalen Ramsey or for Bosa but instead I think they wait and draft a shocking person that can improve their offense immediately..  Could see T Stanley here too.

 

#6.) Ravens RB Ezekiel Elliot

 

If this happened 49ers would be happy yet conflicted they can take either QB but which one? Or none since they kept CK with no trade to Denver. As much as Chip Kelly would like to start his year with the QB he picks, I think he could be tempted to go else where. 

 

#7.) 49ers 3-4DE Buckner

 

The Eagles might want to start off with their own QB here as many HCs will want to do and having both available even trade offers come in, a T Stanley would be safe pick but not exciting.  Many think That Wentz could be the next Blake Bortles.

 

#8.) Eagles draft QB Carson Wentz

 

I can see Stanley here too to protect Winston or to give him a WR weapon but they need an edge rusher that they feel Lawson is too good to let slip past them.

 

#9.) Bucs DE/OLB Shaq Lawson

 

Sure they have Odell Beckham but he certainly was frustrated against the Jaguars of all Defenses bringing in Treadwell gives Odell less attention.

 

#10.) Giants  WR Laquon Treadwell

 

Where need meets their Best Available Player board.  I could see Eli Apple going here too though.

 

#11.) Chicago LT Ronnie Stanley

 

The team needs an elite corner and Eli I think might go before #12 but if not they will be happy to take the fastest corner in this draft (fastest with 1st round talent that is)

 

#12.) Saints draft CB Eli Apple

 

The team got torched by Blake last season causing them to fire the HC a week or two later, but with recent signing and this draft that all changes.

 

#13.) Dolphins draft CB Mackensie Alexander

Mock draft update 4/15/2016

 

You don't give up 2 first round picks, two 2nd round picks, among others for any other position than QB especially when you don't really have one with Foles, team has been trying for a QB for a few years.  The Rams take the QB with the most experience against tougher teams whom didn't break his wrist back in Oct. some say the biggest knock on him is his frame makes him vulnerable to injury in the future.

 

#1.) Trade with Titans, Rams draft QB Jared Goff

 

Eagles tried to trade with titans but withdrew offer and now are talking with Browns, since Wentz was the QB they had wanted all along.  A few compared Wentz to Bortles.

 

#2.) Trade with Browns, Eagles draft QB Wentz 

 

The chargers find themselves in a great spot taking the best LT in the draft that has huge praise from many of being a possible All-Pro and fits a huge need protecting their aging elite QB.

 

#3.) Chargers  LT Laremy Tunsil

 

Cowboys need an edge rusher & Godfather Gil had huge praise for Bosa despite his slow speed in the Combine, yet the owner might see a potential Deon Sanders type of player in Ramsey.

 

#4.) Cowboys   CB Jalen Ramsey

 

Time for the Jacksonville Jaguars #5 overall pick and tempting trade offers, but they see a guy they can't pass up on... so is it Jack, Hargreaves, Bosa, or Buckner? All have the potential to be elite, but the Jaguars got killed last season against the pass & it wasnt short passes which Myles Jack couldve helped stop.  It was mid to deep passes which an edge rusher or shut down corner could help.. Vernon is a great zone scheme corner whom is physical but could get beat deep I literally had to flip a coin on this one.. but the edge rusher wins..

I could see the Ravens trading up for Jalen Ramsey, but they would be happy getting back a potential Pro Bowl LB that they miss more than Ed Reed being gone.

 

#6.) Ravens draft LB Myles Jack

 

New 49ers HC Chip Kelly's fast offense leaves the defense on the field more than most teams, and the team needs a good 3-4end, Buckner not only has freakishly large hands (12" record at combine) to go with his 6'7" height & 291lbs but he took over a 100 snaps in two different college games & has the stamina to remain on the field. I could see the temptation of Chip to go with RB Elliott but not as much of a need as DL.

 

#7.) 49ers 3-4DE Buckner

 

The Eagles traded with the Browns at #8, the new HC Hue Jackson (a former RB coach) can't believe that the Elliot is still on the board when Isaiah Crowell a 3.9 avg is his best back he drafts the best RB in the daft.

 

#8.) Trade with Eagles, Browns  draft HB Ezekiel Elliott

 

I can see Stanley here too to protect Winston or to give him a WR weapon but they need an edge rusher that they feel Lawson is too good to let slip past them.

Ezekiel Elliott said he could provide them a championship but he's off the board.  They have Odell Beckham but he certainly was frustrated against the Jaguars of all Defenses bringing in Treadwell gives Odell less attention.  The new HC Ben McAdoo is an offensive minded head coach.  Thought about Vernon here since they lost Prince whom was also a physical zone guy.

 

#10.) Giants  WR Laquon Treadwell

Yeah the possibility of the Rams moving up never dawned on me because of how far back they were but in retrospect it makes sense since they had the extra 2nd round pick to throw in this year. Still disappointed the tacks were able to get the haul of picks they did. Hopefully they screw it up.

I was already worried about the Tacks with the players they've been getting and now they get all these picks & an additional 1st round pick next year.. lets hope they draft all losers..

 

I've been wondering if I should re-do my mock to have Myles Jack fall out of the top 10.. too many questions about his injury...
