How would you move forward if Tunsil in round 1?

Quote:Who do you believe in more? Joeckel or Fowler? I'll take Tunsil over Bosa, not just cause I have no faith in Joeckel but also Tunsil is a stronger prospect than Bosa. If Jack or Ramsey are on the board, it's an easy decision. I'll take Tunsil over Bosa, OL specifically LT is the weakest part of our offense What do you think of Beachum? Everyone keeps harping on how we couldn't get to the QB but our QB got his butt handed to him every game, how is that not a priority
A good loser is a good loser
With the depth at DL in this draft, going with a player like Tunsil in the first is a little easier to swallow. We can get a quality defensive lineman with our 2nd pick. Also, if you put any stock into NFL.com's prospect ratings, Tunsil is the highest rated prospect since Luck.
I hope the Chargers take him so we can address a bigger need.
Quote:Unfortunately, Chargers media is making it sound like Tunsil is not a fit for the team because they resigned their two tackles. Therefore Ramsey seems likely for their pick. Dallas doesn't seem to like Bosa so I would suspect they pick Jack. That leaves us with Tunsil, Bosa, and Buckner. Tunsil is by far the best prospect of those 3 and imo tackle is still enough of a need that it would be foolish to pass on Tunsil at that point because we have Luke Joeckel, Kelvin Beachum, and Jermey Parnell. Parnell is not a long term solution at tackle imo and bookending Tunsil with Beachum would give us a near elite tackle duo. I know people still have a bad taste in their mouth from Joeckel but it would be a mistake to let that influence the pick and Tunsil has a far greater nasty streak than Joeckel, which is what he's missing. So assuming Tunsil is the pick, what do you do about the defense? They were just talking about this if you were the owner & if the scouts did all the homework and agreed he's the best in the draft you take him at 5 if he's there heck maybe trade up to 3 if you dont lose too much in the deal... but I highly doubt that will happen in Jax because the owner has faith in GM, and the GM is looking for a guy that can help them win this year .. he'll worry about next year if they make it that far but (GM&HC) had a huge leash so far.. but if they dont win at least 7 games or more this year they'll both be fired possibly & with a tunsil or injured myles jack is more of a project (or wait a year for rewards to kick in)... neither will be the pick IMO. Not saying I dont want Tunsil or Myles Jack just saying they wont be the pick.. trust me |
