Browns "actively shopping" #2 pick.

Would anyone do a trade that involves giving up our next year's 2nd round pick to move to 2 to grab Ramsey

I wouldn't part with any of our picks to move up. If someone trades up to #2 to pick a QB, we're guaranteed one of Bosa, Jack, and Ramsey at #5.

Yeah, I wouldn't trade to move up unless it was like a 6th or 7th round pick, which no one is going to make that trade anyway.

I would if our docs say no to Jacks knee.

Quote:I bet it would cost more than that since we'd be competing with teams who are looking to draft the other QB.

That could easily be the case.

It's also related to what I mentioned in another thread that pick # 5 could be in demand if QBs go in the top 2 spots and Paxton Lynch is still available at # 5.

Probably not because of the present value factor.

For the sake of discussion,  assuming the Jags can move up to pick # 2 by trading pick # 5 and their 2016 2nd Round pick,  it would cost them their 2nd Round pick in 2017 and probably something like their 4th Round pick in 2016 with pick # 5 to move up to # 2.

SuperJville,  another reason why I don't think the Jags 2nd Round pick in 2017 would be enough to move up to # 2 in this draft is the Jags very likely will be picking lower in the 2nd Round of the 2017 Draft than they are in the 2nd Round of the 2016 Draft.

Too much.

I just think this year is better than any so far for us to trade up. We have a team that doesn't really need 7-8 rookies on this team. They all won't make the team.

If we don't like Bosa, and we are concerned about Jack, and we love Ramsey?!.... I can see Dave consider that.

Man it feels good to not be one of these QB needy teams like in years past.

I don't know why the Eagles would want to trade up with Bradford and Daniel on their roster. I would wait or trade up for Lynch and select Elliot.

Best scenario is that for whatever reason Tunsil falls to us, a team covets him and we trade out, pick up VH, then use the extra picks to trade back in and grab Spence

I think they said Bradford is supposed to make 22 mil this year as well.

If you're going to trade up, trade up with SD because they want Tunsil and Dallas wont take him at 4. If we really want Ramsey, we can move up to 3 and not give up the farm.

I would only do this if Jack's knee does not check out.

The only problem is that I think San Diego will draft Ramsey.

No

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

Quote:Not to #2.... No. They're trading to #2 for Goff or Wentz.

They could trade to 3 or 4 for one of those guys though.

That's true but i still worry about a team snagging one of the big 3 because let's say Cle isn't sold on QB and goes Defense.  That could shake up everything, so I really hope your right.

They will. I'd be ecstatic with Ramsey but he's SD's guy and I'm confident in that. Dunlap is a very solid LT. Desperately need playmakers on D. Makes too much sense. Need Browns to go QB or trade down though, and until a trade actually happens in lean towards them going Ramsey. Luckily, if they do, I bet Tunsil goes to SD so either eay we'd be fine.

I dont think they will.  I think SD will go Tunsil and Dallas goes Ramsey which is the best case scenario for the Jags.  Dave gets his pick from the 2 best players in the draft and 2 biggest positions of need.  Bosa and Jack. win win
