Quote:Best scenario is that for whatever reason Tunsil falls to us, a team covets him and we trade out, pick up VH, then use the extra picks to trade back in and grab Spence

I can imagine Spence getting stonewalled on the edge in the pros. Thinking they would trade back for Lawson. More of a big physical edge rusher with quick twitch ability and more power at the point of attack. I been in on too much Mayock.

Quote:You act like this is impossible but if the Browns stay put and don't go QB and go Ramsey, Bosa could definitely go to SD and Jack could definitely go to DAL. Do you know what their draft boards look like? If so send them my way.

I'd say it's likely one will be there at least, but to say it's a lock when the draft is as wild as it is, is sort of crazy.
I hate to say I told you so buuuuuuut

Kudos.

I figured a trade would not happen until draft day, when the team that wanted to trade up would know which QB would be the Rams' choice.

Apparently, the Eagles like both QBs.   The repudiation of the Chip Kelly era is complete.

I think they will try to trade Sam Bradford now.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

The problem with moving Bradford is how much dead money would go on the cap.

They'll trade him next year.

Gave him 11 million signing bonus already.

Or maybe the Broncos will give them a 2nd rounder for him

But they have jettisoned a lot of salaries already.  I don't know their current cap situation, but I would think on a rebuilding team with a new coach in his first year, dumping as much dead money in the first year would be a good thing.

I never said the Browns are for sure staying. Said if they did, they could go defense...which obviously proved true with this deal. They weren't enamored with either of the QB's, so why take one at 2 if you don't think he's a franchise guy? If they couldn't have got this done with PHI, they would have likely took Ramsey/Bosa/Jack. If it would have been Bosa or Jack, then Chargers would have possibly taken Ramsey. Bosa to DAL at that point would have made all the sense in the world with Demarcus Lawrence now being suspended for the first four games and already needing pass rush to begin with.
