I looked everywhere for some Karl Joseph stuff with the Jags and found nothing. Seems like he's not on the Jags radar :/

Keep in mind that;

2010 Eric Berry S Tenn - KC drafted 5th overall

2011 Patrick Peterson CB LSU - Arizona drafted 5th overall

a small chance Jalen Ramsey could be there at #5.. thinking of how nobody expected Leonard Williams to drop so far last year.. there is always that one guy that falls..

Why would the Jaguars let the whole world know who they might be considering with their 5th overall pick?  To me it seems obvious for trade bait.  They want to move down in the draft for more picks.

im thinking because we are high on Jack and the dont want to take 2 guys coming off knee injuries with their first 2 picks plus Fowler coming off one

Quote:We worked out Chris Jones recently too.

Yep.

Tweet from Rand Getlin (@Rand_Getlin) - I'm told 6-foot-6, 310 pound #HailState DL Chris Jones recently visited the #Jaguars, #Bengals, #Ravens and #Seahawks.

He's going to be a Jag. I think we've met with him more than any other prospect so far.

Off the top of my head it seems we have spent a lot of time with Myles Jack, Noah Spence, Yannick Ngakoue, and Chris Jones.

I'm not sure if he'll be there for our pick in the second.

Your right it's hard to tell, I think Billings,Butler,Robinson,Rankins,Clark,Nkemdiche, Jarran Reed all will go in the 1st round.

Typing those names just reminded me again how great of a DT class is and that's not even all of them. Its the equivalent of 2014 WR class.

That's a good point about the depth. In a normal draft, I'd be pretty sure he goes in the first. However, with all the quality DTs, he could get pushed down a bit.

Tweet from Aaron Wilson (@AaronWilson_NFL) - Colts, 49ers, Rams, Jets, Jaguars, Eagles, Texans expressing interest in New Mexico St. corner Winston Rose as potential Day 3 draft pick

<a class="bbc_url" href='https://twitter.com/AaronWilson_NFL/status/724712577805082624'>https://twitter.com/AaronWilson_NFL/status/724712577805082624</a>

Per Rotoworld:

Quote:John Kling - T - Bulls

The Jaguars have kicked the tires on Buffalo T John Kling as a potential late-round selection.

Doff of the cap to the Houston Chronicle's Aaron Wilson for the tip. The first thing that jumps out in regards to Kling is his size. He is an absolute monster at 6-foot-7, 313 pounds. He was named to the All-MAC second team for the 2015 campaign and during Buffalo's Pro Day, notched a 30-inch vertical jump, 8-foot-8 broad jump and 21 reps on the bench press. If the Jaguars or another squad opt to take a chance on him, it likely wouldn't come until the later rounds.

This is good info. Thanks. I really am praying we hit on some late round pass rusher and he turns into a stud.

I can't recall a time when a team had 2 Montana players on their roster.

Check him out against North Dakota State (Carson Wentz). First few minutes were actually pretty impressive.
