Quote:Why wouldn't this trade have happened during the draft? The Eagles gave up that much and don't know which QB will be available yet. I'm sure there were other teams in the mix and it probably forced the issue now, but this seems like desperation on the part of the Eagles to me. Makes for good drama though. These GM"s have close relationships with each other, they talk. It's almost a certainty Les Snead has told Howie Roseman who the Rams are taking.
Quote:hahaha..... Umm... As of now the top QBs for next year are Watson and Kaaya.
Shock the world
Quote:If Dave takes Buckner, I'm jumping off my 1 story roof. I think Buckner is in serious consideration at 5. I don't think he's the sexy 15 sack per year guy (not sure Bosa is either), but his combo of size/strength and being fast enough makes me think he could be an 8 to 10 sack per year guy and also be very effective against the run and force 1 on 1 match ups for Fowler. What don't you like? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
I doubt we take Buckner. The Interior Lineman position in this draft is so deep you will find lots of value after round 1.

What don't you like? Not to mention the guy's hands are gi-normous. I forsee a lot of tipped passes at the line much like JJ Watt. His arms are slightly longer and hands slightly bigger than JJ's. He's two inches taller as well. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:Are Wentz and Goff really this great? I don't know a whole lot about them, but are they suppose to be hall of fame QB's? Exactly what I've been thinking! Are they better than Winston, Mariota, Bortles, Carr? (Even Bridgwater?)
As a Browns fan as well as the Jags, I am completely cool with this. Don't be shocked to hear about the Titans moving up to the 8 and the Browns dropping back to 15. Smoke is already starting about it.
Such a weird year for all of these trade ups for QB. Whatever, sounds good to me. I think SD takes Tunsil, or they should, so we'll be set at 5.

The only player I don't want us to draft is Laremy Tunsil... Which means we will probably draft Laremy Tunsil.

There doesnt seem to be an obvious guy for us. Each has an easy to see red flag. Tunsil missed a bunch of time for various reasons. Ramsey, while good, didnt create a ton of turnovers. Jack has the injury risk. Bosa may just end up good but not great and not producing double digit sacks.
If Jack were 100% healthy, he would be the obvious pick to me. But I could be talked into any of them. ________________________________________________ Scouting well is all that matters. Draft philosophy is all fluff.
All the better for us that Dave got his guy at #3 without having to trade picks.

I prefer one of the big 3, but if Caldwell takes Buckner, I'll be stoked as well. He is special. Quote:Such a weird year for all of these trade ups for QB. Whatever, sounds good to me. Sounds like a good problem to have.
