I'm sure we'll make an attempt, but the Niners will make a very strong one too and word is his wish has always been to play in California...so we'll see.

Aren't we still #1 in most cap space?

Meh I don't know about signing him. I think he's probably had his best year and honestly add another corner in the middle of the draft and we're ok. No need to throw money at a one year wonder when you gotta lock your guys up soon. Pass.

If by "midseason" you mean week 15, then yeah, sure.

Who cares?

If he goes to the 49ers it would def be a Vernon situation where he just wanted to go to that city, no state taxes we can give him more money the 49ers, plus 49ers are a mess, at least the Giants have good players when Vernon picked them over us.

Giants have ODB so don't know if they'd sign him. Bears maybe? 49ers? Don't know if Chip would like him. Chargers perhaps?

Hmm, overthecap.com has us ahead of San Francisco by about $2 million. I guess either way, we have plenty of money to spend.

How much space do the Rams have. They need a corner with Jenkins leaving.

Adding Norman would give us one of the best CB groups in the league bar none.

The guarantees would all be paid out by end of year 3 in that case...18+17+16 = 51 Million

Quote:Can a tagged player be traded? If so I'm surprised they didn't shop him first.

Only if he signs his tender, which he has not.

Because we have the cap space and he's worth it. Alongside Sherman and Revis, he's a top 3 CB in this league.
