I'm 39 years old, and it's really strange to realize that the vestiges of racism are still something I have to grapple with...
It's as conditioned in white folks as it is in black folks, just in different ways. And sadly it's perpetuated by folks of both colors in the media, social media, entertainment, government, etc.

Quote:Better Jackson off the 20 than Hamilton off the 10. I guess it finally took a musical for everyone to appreciate Hamilton. I am glad people are starting to learn more about him.

Same here. Hamilton was one of the most important people in our history. An impoverished orphan from the Carribean who landed in New York City at 17 and made the most of his opportunity, rocketing to the top. An incredible story. A very brilliant man.

Nah, currency is on its way out. The next big thing will be a commerce tattoo of Obama on the hand or forehead.

Time for some to re-evaluate their ill-conceived allegiances and misperceptions.

It may be a politically correct move, but in the end it's simply correct.

I don't care about Jackson being replaced all that much, but the totality of the changes they've announced smack of "Our money is too white male-ish."
