Curt Schilling fired over NC Bathroom law

Quote:Still waiting for legitimate concerns about how people going to the bathroom constitutes a safety risk. Butthurt feelings is not a legitimate concern.

Your liberal monolithic frankly myopic bias is not the final arbiter of what is or is not legitimate.

Nor is your conservative monolithic frankly myopic bias is not the final arbiter of what is or is not legitimate either.

Have you proposed one? So far I have heard all about your feelings (or lack of empathy towards trans people) and 1 documented predator dressed up like a woman. These are legitimate concerns?

I'm sure this will shock your world view to it's core, but you don't decide what the truth is either.

Facts are the final arbiter of what is and what is not legitimate. You have a real issue with facts I know. But try. Or concede you don't have legitimate concerns, just unfounded fears you've built up in your tiny brain.

I propose that chicks with [BLEEP] not be allowed in the ladies' room because I don't think it's right. They're a tiny fraction of the population and their feelings shouldn't trump the feelings of the vast majority. If you have a penis, you use the men's room. Simple.

Here's my issue. If a large portion of the population, let's say 98%, identifies with the gender they have been since birth, why then do we have to change bathroom laws for 2%? It is so shockingly ridiculous. I keep hearing things like feelings, and what people identify with, and comfort levels. What about the feelings, what people identify with, and the comfort levels of the vast majority? It's all backwards anymore.

Trump appreciates your vote. [BLEEP] all minorities. You are a true sphincter hole. That is your right. Hooray America.

I hate Trump. I'm married to a "minority", so stick that up your sphincter hole.

Son, there is no content.

I clearly pointed out instances of abusing the "inclusive" bathroom system.

You have failed to recognize that a.)Not all trans women are exclusively attracted to men. B.) not everyone who says they are a trans woman are in fact trans women.

You can sit there and bloviate about compassion or being "trapped" in a body all you want. But all it boils down to is emotional ranting from the giddy table Bruh.

What about those who don't agree with you despite identifying with the gender they were born with? People KEEP ignoring this. My wife and daughters don't want to share a bathroom with someone who looks physically like a male and identifies as male, even though they may have lady parts. I know many women who share this sentiment. I know I don't want to share a bathroom with someone who physically appears to be female and identifies as female that happens to have man parts.

In fact it was only recently that places started creating LAWS that required people to use the bathroom of their biological gender. If it was such an issue, why did it not come up before?

I hope you have a trans kid some day so you can answer this question yourself. I have shared a story on here about a friend of mine with a trans kid before. It doesn't matter how rare it is. You have a choice to be sympathetic or not. To be educated or not. To ignore the risks this minority endures for being born this way or not. I respect people more who admit they just don't like or get trans people than those who claim a policy of "pee or poo where you feel comfortable" will somehow violate their rights or cause a public risk.

I hope he doesn't have a trans-child. I'd feel very bad for that child. My wife's uncle had a friend who's child was transgender. He didn't accept her, and she wound up killing herself. I wouldn't wish that on any child, or even any parent.

I hear you. I think for some people, the only way they may change their opinion is being faced with the question, "will I love my kid as they are or not."

Citing statistics or instances of LGBT citizens being attacked or bullied falls on deaf ears with this crowd. If it isn't an immediate impact on their lives, screw 'em.

So you do care about people not in the majority? Just not trans people?

According to the FBI, 296 hate crime incidents in 2013 were committed because of gender identity. Less than 1 per day in a country of roughly 300 million people. Just staggering.
