You have failed to recognize that a.)Not all trans women are exclusively attracted to men. B.) not everyone who says they are a trans woman are in fact trans women.

As I have said a million times before, you lack reading comprehension skills. And you are no expert on transgender people. You refuse to admit that trans people don't attack or film women in bathrooms, but continue to promote the idea they are a risk without being able to cite in any of your posts how so. You cited 1 instance where a person with a record of being a sexual predator impersonated a woman to try to hide his true intentions. This is someone with a history of criminal behavior. Plenty of bathroom attacks happened well before the bathroom debate started. You will use this 1 instance as the keystone of your argument. That shows just how flawed your argument is. You're grasping because you cannot cite any true reason the public is at risk.


Again... trans people don't attack people and are far more likely to be victimized in bathrooms than you or your loved ones.

According to the FBI, 296 hate crime incidents in 2013 were committed because of gender identity. Less than 1 per day in a country of roughly 300 million people. Just staggering.

"Hate crimes" would require local or state law that allows them to be reported in the first place (Jax currently lacks these and this number was much smaller in 2013 where the data comes from). "Hate crimes" also does not account for all other instances of discrimination against trans people.

I acknowledge your right to think LGBT people are "not right" or "sinful" or whatever. But a man in a dress or a woman who dresses and looks like a boy in no way violates your rights. You can still think and feel whatever you want. Being in a bathroom with them, at most, makes you feel a little awkward for 30 seconds. Assuming you never take a moment to actually engage this person in your life, I think eventually you would come to the realization nothing they do in a bathroom or in their lives has any bearing on your ability to live your life however you want to.

This is such a good example of making a non-issue a distraction. Private business has the right to dictate who they let use what facility. If you don't like targets policy don't shop at Target or don't use the bathroom at Target. Instead we have the half of the political spectrum that's supposed to be for limited government advocating laws dictating what bathrooms people can use on private property. I don't get it, conservatives get tripped up on these social issues to easily.

I hope you have a trans kid some day so you can answer this question yourself. I have shared a story on here about a friend of mine with a trans kid before. It doesn't matter how rare it is. You have a choice to be sympathetic or not. To be educated or not. To ignore the risks this minority endures for being born this way or not. I respect people more who admit they just don't like or get trans people than those who claim a policy of "pee or poo where you feel comfortable" will somehow violate their rights or cause a public risk.

For attempting to come across as such a caring fellow you sure have a funny way of showing it. You demean, and stereotype like it's going out of style.

I'm demeaning because I propose the idea the only way some people become empathetic is by actually experiencing something the vast majority doesn't. Or because I don't acknowledge someone's feelings override facts? I respect people's right to be ignorant or opinionated. But not to the point where feelings and opinions trump truth. The fact is a trans person using a bathroom with you or your loved ones impacts you in exactly the same way a straight person using the bathroom impacts you or your loved ones. There has been no shred of evidence to the contrary (aside from some people "feeling" it is not right -- as if they have the right to dictate how others live).

When your opinion is stated publicly as a representative of a larger corporation which may not agree with your opinion and you have a clause which states that it is a violation of your contract to make disparaging remarks about a minority.. yup. It's called common sense. I have the right to live as a grand wizard in the KKK, but if my company catches me at a work function dropping the n word left and right and trying to convince people the Holocaust never happened, do they have the right to fire me? Yeah. Are my rights violated over this? Not at all.


This is especially true when the stated opinion has nothing to do with your actual job.
