Quote:Does anyone else think that if we drafted Ragland he could play Otto? I feel like at least at first he we be a fit there until Poz is gone. I feel like he does have some pass rushing skills and some untapped potential there. Yes, I think he has the ability to play OTTO.

I feel like he does have some pass rushing skills and some untapped potential there. I like him too. I think we go pass rush though... I'm not sure it'll be Ragland, and with Myles Jack's knee, it'll probably be one of the DE's that we pick up. At least, that's my guess. I really have no clue
Quote:Yes. I do. I think he'd be a real good fit for us, and if Poz retires or gets injured, Ragland would be his replacement. Ragland is a quality football player. But there is a question about that enlarged aorta. I forgot about that aorta thing. Ugh...

Per Mark Long: Dave Caldwell said that Jaguars board last night at 5 was Bosa, Ramsey, Buckner

Buckner def wouldn't have been the 5th pick. We would have traded or got Floyd, Buckner was not a part of Daves top 3
Quote:Good Lord we almost had Buckner. That would have been deflating Getting buckner would have felt like letting something slip right between our legs... Quote:The aorta thing isn't a very big risk factor at all. It is most likely extremely overblown. I could go into more detail as to why, but I won't unless ya'll want me to.

Quote:Isn't this the same issue Star Letuleia (spelling) had? I'm not sure. There aren't going to be any side effects or missed time. The worry would be if the dilated aorta continues to widen to the point of being worrisome. This is something that usually happens down the road (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm screenings usually start for men at around age 60). They'll probably monitor it each year to be safe, but I think it would be very, very, unlikely it would ever get to the point of needing surgical repair in his 20s.
if the jack or ragland medicals are too much for you , may I offer Austin Johnson. I'm waiting till next year for lbs anyways.
In fact, there are probably a handful posters here who have "enlarged aortas" and don't even known it.
