With such a push to close loose ends I have to wonder when we see both Ricken and Samwell?

I'm guessing Rickon is in the next episode as a gift to Ramsey.

Interesting take.  I hope not.  I was thinking the gift would be news that John Snow was dead.

Hmmm, I had not thought of that. Could be the case though I wonder who would have sent news, so quickly, to Winterfell from the Wall. It seems like the timeline is a single night. The preview makes it seem like it's an object or a person, which to Ramsey is just an object.

It would make sense. He needed Sansa to stake a claim but one Stark is as good as another to him for his purposes.

He was awoken and murdered at night, the Onion Knight found him and brought him to the hall with his loyal friends.  Elisandra arrived, went to bed, woke up, did some mojo and they all left to go to bed I presume???  Oh and one of them had time to leave and fetch the wildings.  I am thinking 24 hrs maybe.  Plenty of time for a raven to make the trip and leave us hanging until this coming Sunday.

hmmm... I think I would like that much better than it being Rickon. Would keep Ramsay away from the wall for a little longer so Jon can get all pissed off after Sansa gets there.

Nice theory. I like it.

Probably about a 91% chance that it is Rickon that is going to be given to Ramsay. The last time we see Rickon, he is with Osha and they are told to head to The Last Hearth, which is the home of the Umbers. In the last episode Ramsay speaks of the Karstarks, Umbers, and Manderlys as houses that are in his support.

They don't typically just name off names in an episode for no reason, but the Manderlys may possibly play some sort of role in Rickons safety, but who really knows. We haven't seen much at all of the Manderlys in the show, which is a crying shame honestly. In the show as in the books, one of the Manderlys sons are killed by the Boltons at the red wedding, and the Manderlys owe everything they have to the Starks, so they won't ever go with what the Boltons are doing. The Umbers are somewhat of a split house so their loyalties are a bit hard to determine.

But I believe that Rickon will be used by Ramsay to write some form of the "Pink Letter" to Jon. He wants his Reek back, and he wants his wife, and I'm sure he will mention the fact that Jon's youngest half bro/cousin is sitting in chains at Winterfell.

Or it could just be Theon captured as he was heading back home, who knows. We'll see soon enough.

Getting slightly predictable. The Rickon arch was a dead give away last week on the preview. Too bad they killed his direwolf Shaggydog. I have a bad feeling though. With Jon presumably leaving Castle Black tonight. He may be able to bring the Wildlings along with him. Ramsay should meet his end. But I think he's going to make an example of Rickon by flaying him and burning him first to kick off the War for the North. Almost similiar to what happened to his grandfather years ago with the mad king Aerys.

Where it gets interesting in addition. Is King's Landing. It's a race against time at this point. But I think based on what's happening in King's Landing. Cersei will handle her mess faster than Jon can take care of his. It's getting good though.

was pretty cool, book discrepancies aside.  Scenes like that always make me wonder why they don't follow the book completely.  In the book its 7 vs 3 not 6 vs 2.  In the book he fights with the Greatsword Dawn a Milk white blade of his house, he doesn't dual wield.  They cut out a couple lines as well.  Ned asks why they didn't bend the knee and Dayne replies.  Our knees do not bend so easily.   Literally ten more seconds of dialogue why cut that out?  They did the same thing to Maester Aemon last season before he dies They absolutely butcher and condense his last council to Jon Snow.

Go Jags!

2016 draft players I think will be good
  • On the Fournette train, will be best back of his class 3/6/17
  • Lattimore please,  Lockdowns on both sides would be nice

"Edd, fetch me a block"

They removed that line from the show as well, which to me was one of the most bad [BLEEP] lines in the entire series. I think Jon says, "Grab my sword" or something in the show, which is just, not even close man.

They seem to leave out quite a lot of great lines for some unknown reason. I guess they want to make it their own, but it ain't doing any justice.

I understand making it your own, but theres a point where you have to see the golden moments of the book and capitalize on them.  Fetch me a Block was probably my favorite part of that book.

Thats why he needs to get Margery out of that cell so he can give her the fury.

The Arthur Dayne fight was pretty awesome. No doubt about it. He had Ned dead to rights. Howland Reed did what needed to be done though. Was hoping to see his sword of the morning come into fold but they left us hanging there. I guess it makes it easier to skip the whole story of Ned going to Arthur's sister to return his sword to the family.

So happy to see Olly and Thorne get what they had coming. I was hoping Jon would have said leave them there hanging to turn into Wight's or something to that effect.

I had a feeling there for a second that Jon might stab Olly while he was hanging there, and as he removed his sword it would be on fire, somewhat fulfilling the prophecies for Azor Ahai, introducing the true Lightbringer and whatnot.

Would have been pretty dope.

In the show, Gendry.

Books there's Edric Storm, who's the "illegitimate child" of Robert, who was conceived in Stannis' bed on the night of his own wedding.

I don't know how you guys can follow all this in the books. I get lost in the TV show and apparently that's the watered down version.
