I am a senior citizen and I do work.  Seniors are going back to work by necessity, and are getting hired over younger candidates with no work ethic.

Actually the correct term is "seasoned citizens".  One glaring problem is that the younger work force doesn't really have a clue.  It's amazing to me when in my industry the young kids don't have a clue.  You basically have to teach an EE grad "electricity 101".  I have also had to show CE grads how to really troubleshoot and fix software bugs.  They just don't know what they just don't know...
